Warranty Checkup on New 2017 Pilot We took our 5 month old 2017 Pilot in to have it checked out due to sluggish acceleration since the Odyssey we were replacing had better acceleration. We took our 5 month old 2017 Pilot in to have it checked out due to sluggish acceleration since the Odyssey we were replacing had better acceleration. Diamara was our service consultant and was very friendly and helpful. However, we were told that the "sluggishness" is due to the new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) transmission that Honda as well as other manufacturers are using in these cars. While we were fully satisfied with Diamara's service, we are not completely satisfied with the explanation. I was talking to a friend that had an older Pilot and just replaced it with a new pilot a couple of months after us and he confirmed that it is definitely not as "peppy" out of the gate as his old Pilot. All I can say is that if the CVT transmission is really responsible, then Honda and the other car companies need to reevaluate their decision to go with that type of transmission, because it is quite a noticeable difference! More
Best Car Buying Experience I've had I'll start with this: I'm not a fan of car shopping because 1) it's expensive and time consuming, and 2) the salespeople. However, the salesman we wor I'll start with this: I'm not a fan of car shopping because 1) it's expensive and time consuming, and 2) the salespeople. However, the salesman we worked with at Crown Honda, Tim Smith, was great. Tim worked with us more like a guide than a salesman. He listened to us, showed us what we wanted to see but most importantly (at least to me) was not pushy about money at any time during the process. Most salesman ask the question within the first couple minutes. Tim didn't ask until I brought it up several hours after we first met. Maybe that's not the way car salesmen are taught to be, but it made me feel like what I wanted mattered more than what he was trying to get out of it for himself and I really respected that. Everyone else we met was friendly as well, and they all helped make the process as pleasant as they could. So if you want to have as pleasant of a car buying experience as you can, go see Tim at Crown Honda. More

Long wait before being assisted. First and foremost I have to give a 5 star rating to Service rep Brooks Falzone. He was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. I needed to get a First and foremost I have to give a 5 star rating to Service rep Brooks Falzone. He was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. I needed to get an oil change before my leaving for a few days out of town. I had called earlier to see if I could go in without an appointment and they said to come in for an express oil change. I came in shortly before 2pm and the outside rep said I would have to wait until a Service writer would see me. I've had oil changes like this before so I thought it would be maybe 15 minutes or so before seeing a service rep. Well it took just over an hour before I was met by Mr. Falzone and he quickly took me in and had my oil change done as well as a airbag recall taken care of. He also advised me that I should change my transmission fluid which I agreed to. I normally give this dealership 5 stars but the long wait to see a service writer made me rate this visit a 4 star. I think they had a shortage of Service Writers this day. More
