I recently had my Escalade in for service. It needed half the engine replaced. Lifters cam shaft and a few other things. I had to wait 2 months for parts because of the shortage. While the truck was getting worked on my spark plug wires broke as they were taking everything apart and I was told it’s not covered so I had paid for new ones. $200. They broke it and I had to pay. Real nice. The truck was in the shop for about a month. Once I picked the truck up from service on my drive home my check engine light came on. Something wasn’t correct with the truck and I had to bring it back. It was stalling out at traffic lights and every time I stopped. I was charged around $200 for parts and labor after the repair they did. Not even a courtesy repair after there hand were all in the engine bay. . Strange but I let it go. 3 days later my check engine light turned on again. Now it was the cam shaft sensor. They said it was corroded. Corrosion takes months not days to happen. Again they replaced the entire cam shaft. Why wouldn’t they replace the sensor as well. The entire job was around $7000 plus. I was charged another 150-$200. Both times returning after there repairs and both times I had to pay. On top of that I noticed scratches on the hood of the truck. The truck is fully wrapped. It can’t be repaired. The film has to be replaced. I spoke with the service manager Mauro, and at first he said he was not covering it and had a little hissy fit and walked away. I stopped him and explained myself to him and explained that the service advisor and I walked the truck before dropping it off and the truck was perfect and no damage or marks on the hood. I tell them each and every time it’s there for service no car wash. The service manager Mauro finally came to his senses and said get me a estimate for the repairs and I’ll get you reimbursed. But as I started to walk away he said after this we are done and it sounded liked he doesn’t want my service business ever again. I just had $7000 plus of work done. Really. Real professional. Once I provided the estimate he did decided to play detective. He called the wrap shop pretending to be a customer and to negotiate the price down after disclosing himself and the situation. He then wanted to see proof of payment to the wrap shop from me. Now I had to go out of my way a second time for his mistake. I sent him a picture of the check issued to the wrap shop. Then he tells me he wants to see that the check was deposited by the wrap shop. Another inconvenience for there mistake. At this point I was very uncomfortable but still did what he asked. I has to send him a image from my personal account that they deposited it. Once that was provided he never responded back to me. 4 of my emails following up on this matter and still waiting. This is why I am forced to post this negative review. Again extremely unprofessional. This guy needs to get with the times and get off his high horse and sharpen up on his customer service skills. This is not the 90's or 2000's. Get off the seat or get with the times if you cant handle your job. I always talked highly of Crown Cadillac. My family purchased there first Deville back in the 90s. Unfortunately the service manager Mauro left a bad taste in my mouth. I was planning on ordering a new Escalade V with there sales team. Not happening here anymore. I won’t be returning and will let the world know what transpired here. More
