John proved to be not only a friendly sales person, but also a genuinely customer-centered employee. He made sure he answered all our questions, and went the extra mile to ensure that our concerns were addressed. He put all effort possible to facilitate our purchase (a clear contrast to the finance consultant, George K.!), even when our lack of knowledge of some steps in the process, and unexpected life situations (like temporarily loosing the registration for my new car) may have resulted in last minute changes. John is definitely a valuable asset to this dealer! Unfortunately, the whole experience can not be measured just by John's performance. I chose to finance the car through my credit union, and this seemed to put a damp on the transaction. I knew exactly what I wanted, how much I wanted to pay for it, and what extras I did not want included. And I had a financing deal approved by the credit union, but I was made feel guilty for doing this, rather than financing through the dealer. Instead of explaining what my options were to secure payment to the dealer (by the credit union), I kept listening to "this car is not paid for" and decided to not take the car home until that was cleared. It only took 4 days (going to the dealer every day after work, and spending 2-3 hrs. there)! If it was not for John's intervention, I would've considered the cancellation of the transaction (I did call the credit union to explore the possibility of cancelling the financing).Tom was also very helpful. Individualized care is not common now-a-days, but John definitely displayed just that. More
Excellent attention to me and my Partner David and I had found the 2012 Ford Escape Limited, Beautiful Vehicle on Craig's List. We drove in our 2009 FORD Escape, after having had it Detailed. We came in ready to Buy and Trade if it was the Vehicle we thought it was, we knew the price was marked at a reasonable price. The Salesman that greeted US was Mr. John Lajb, he looked US in the eyes and asked if He could help US . He showed US the 2012 and He looked at our trade in that we are very proud of. After we all appreciated the great condition of both cars, He asked if we wanted to test drive the 2012. After a great drive and great comfortable conversation, He suggested we put Both cars up beside one another in front of the Showroom. After enjoying looking at both cars some more, David and I decided we wanted the 2012 IF WE could all come to a comfortable transaction. John said He would find out from the Dealer what they could offer US for the 2009. He said just enjoy and check out the 2012 while we waited. When He came back shortly WE went inside to see if we could make this happen. It was not an easy transaction for Us to get where I needed to be on the amount of the trade in price and the total amount for us to pay. We already had in mind that we would want to pay part in cash and finance a $100.00 payment. The process was difficult for me ,I at times was stern, at times upset with the trade in offer , and the amount of money it was going to cost us, long story short, as I sincerely reacted when John back with a way to work it out, He sincerely kept the communication on His side, without any upset or frustration. We got through the long hard process and was able to listen to John until we worked out to deal I felt good about. We have never been treated with the care and respect and patience the John was sincerely able to give. WE love the whole experience of being able to get the car we wanted after not thinking I could reach a transaction we would feel good about. Thank you John for making all the difference in helping US get our DREAM car, sincerely, and respectfully, Gary and David. More
