When I first got there, Jimmy greeted myself and my mother politely. He noticed I had already looked online and printed the window stickers on the 2 vehicles I wanted to look at and instantly got the mother politely. He let me chose which to start driving first and asked what features I liked about them both. I was torn between and automatic and a manual transmission, and so he asked about the other features I preferred on each. He offered to look at other dealers to find a car with all that I wanted, and did not push me to purchase a car off his lot, which indicated to me that I was a valued customer and that he wanted to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my purchase. In the end, I decided on the manual, and was happy that it did not have more features than what I wanted (which the automatic did have) and that it was a great value. He was able to get me more for my trade than what I originally thought was possible, considering the condition of the vehicle. He was able to talk with the financing person and was able to "run the numbers" with me so that I understood the payments. He showed me different payment options, and allowed me to take time to think about the best option for me. He informed me about GAP coverage, what it was, why to/not to get it, and really let me think about the pros and cons of it. He was not selling it to me, but explaining it, which is a huge plus. I have never had a sales person ever say, "This is a great car, but you also told me you really liked the hatch feature and this car does not have that. We can look and see if there is a car out there that has all that you want, and nothing you don't." Jimmy said that. It was great to have a sales person be on my team, opposed to trying to push me into a vehicle that I did not love. I have been to 4 Ford dealers in the last 6 months trying to pin point which car I wanted. I LOVE my 2005 Ford Focus and did not want to get a new car unless I knew that I could have the same love for it, which I hope is another 7 year commitment. Throughout this process, I wanted to give up, since all the other dealers were pushy, and made remarks about, "What is on the lot is what you can get." I was willing to purchase this vehicle despite it being a non-preferred color choice because I knew that Jimmy had earned my business by being personable and willing to work with me on every aspect of the car buying. I made the remark 2 days ago that I hated the car buying experience, but now I can say that the next time I am looking for a new Ford, I will be going back to Jimmy, since he is willing to put me first, not his lot. Today Jimmy has agreed to drive me home 30 miles away from the dealership so that I am able to turn in my trade vehicle. In the end, this dealership, and Jimmy most of all, has won me over. I am 110% satisfied with the experience, and am excited about driving my new car for all my friends to see! THANK YOU SO MUCH JIMMY!!!!! More
