I was very pleased with the service received for my 2019 Buick Enclave. Service Rep Andrew Peterson was excellent and kept me posted as to what needed to be taken care of with my car. Most disappointin Buick Enclave. Service Rep Andrew Peterson was excellent and kept me posted as to what needed to be taken care of with my car. Most disappointing however was the high cost of the repairs combined with a ridiculous checkout process. Criswell is one of the very few repair shops I have encountered which charges a credit card fee on the total bill (3.0% or 3.5% depending on which sign you believe). I decided to pay by check. What a mistake. Not only did I have to hand over my drivers license, but no less than 3 different codes had to be handwritten on the check. I was expecting to be asked to provide my fingerprints and birth certificate next! Even the nice cashier was frustrated with the very slow and time consuming process. Don't effectively force me to pay by check then treat me like a credit risk, especially since I'm a repeat customer. Can't imagine the process for purchasing a new car from Criswell? I own 4 GM cars, but going forward only one will continue to be be serviced by Criswell. More

I love working with Charles, I pull right in, tell him I need an oil change and whatever other maintenance concerns I have and he always has me out of there with a ride to work in minutes. He is a delight a need an oil change and whatever other maintenance concerns I have and he always has me out of there with a ride to work in minutes. He is a delight and always has my Tahoe washed for me. I really appreciate how well he listens and suggests but never pressures. A gentleman. More
Generally good. Fairly prompt. Cars are done when estimated. Last time though I had to wait 20 minutes to be checked in due to short staffing. I don’t like the ex Fairly prompt. Horrible customer service, very unresponsive service department, 36 days without a car. Worst customer service experience of my life. We brought our brand-new, 3-month-old Chevy vehicle (still under full factory warranty) to Criswell Chevrolet for serious safety concerns. Unfortunately, the Service Manager, Mr. McCormick, refused to (still under full factory warranty) to Criswell Chevrolet for serious safety concerns. Unfortunately, the Service Manager, Mr. McCormick, refused to even inspect or diagnose the issue — simply because we had purchased the vehicle from a different dealership. Despite it being a Chevrolet product under warranty, Mr. McCormick stated he was "not obligated" to service vehicles not sold by Criswell. When we asked for this refusal in writing, he declined. No technician even looked at the vehicle — we were turned away after wasting two trips. This behavior is highly concerning, especially given that Maryland’s consumer protection laws prohibit arbitrary denial of warranty service (UDAP violations). If the dealership was overbooked or short-staffed, a reasonable response would have been to offer a future appointment — in fact, their advisor Shane was initially working to help us schedule service until Mr. McCormick intervened. The treatment we received was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, and left us extremely disappointed. If you did not purchase your vehicle directly from Criswell, be prepared to be refused service, even for critical warranty issues. More
Wow. . Shout out to Lucas Krause!! He was my Service Advisor for my 2021 Chevy Malibu. I’m so glad I didn’t prolong my time, too long, in bringing my car . Shout out to Lucas Krause!! He was my Service Advisor for my 2021 Chevy Malibu. I’m so glad I didn’t prolong my time, too long, in bringing my car into the dealership when the engine light came on. I pulled into the service lane and immediately Mr Krause came to assist me with my concern. He was very polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable about the problem with my car. He, in fact, went to great detail about explaining the problem (internal pcv valve system), and how it’s supposed to flow. How he explained the situation put me at such ease, and also because I brought the car in, in an early stage, he saved me thousands, because if I had waited, I could have been paying for maybe a new engine! What also help put me at ease, was how he kept me informed and updated on my car. And I love my Chevy! Again… Thanks again to Mr. Lucas Krause. I’m extremely satisfied with how well my car is running. Job Well Done Sir😀 More
