I’ve been a customer of Criswell Chevrolet GMC since purchasing my vehicle here in 2015, and unfortunately this experience has been extremely disappointing. I dropped my car off at 9:13 AM and was to purchasing my vehicle here in 2015, and unfortunately this experience has been extremely disappointing. I dropped my car off at 9:13 AM and was told I would receive an update within a couple of hours. I did not hear anything for the entire day and had to follow up multiple times myself. By late afternoon, I was told the vehicle had not even been diagnosed and may need to stay until Monday. At no point was I proactively updated, and I was left without transportation. When I raised concerns, the situation was framed as though I should have paid out-of-pocket for a rental earlier in the day, despite being told I would have a timely update. This is not the first time I’ve experienced communication issues here, which makes this even more frustrating. After spending over $2,000 on recent service, I expected a higher level of customer care and accountability. I understand that delays can happen, but clear communication and basic consideration for customers’ time and transportation needs should be standard. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this dealership for service. This experience has also made me reconsider purchasing from this dealership again in the future. More

We brought our brand-new, 3-month-old Chevy vehicle (still under full factory warranty) to Criswell Chevrolet for serious safety concerns. Unfortunately, the Service Manager, Mr. McCormick, refused to (still under full factory warranty) to Criswell Chevrolet for serious safety concerns. Unfortunately, the Service Manager, Mr. McCormick, refused to even inspect or diagnose the issue — simply because we had purchased the vehicle from a different dealership. Despite it being a Chevrolet product under warranty, Mr. McCormick stated he was "not obligated" to service vehicles not sold by Criswell. When we asked for this refusal in writing, he declined. No technician even looked at the vehicle — we were turned away after wasting two trips. This behavior is highly concerning, especially given that Maryland’s consumer protection laws prohibit arbitrary denial of warranty service (UDAP violations). If the dealership was overbooked or short-staffed, a reasonable response would have been to offer a future appointment — in fact, their advisor Shane was initially working to help us schedule service until Mr. McCormick intervened. The treatment we received was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, and left us extremely disappointed. If you did not purchase your vehicle directly from Criswell, be prepared to be refused service, even for critical warranty issues. More

I was towed to the dealership in the evening when they were closing. However, the staff from the Service Manager, lot attendants and my Service Advisor Dakota were patient and let me unload my truck, chec were closing. However, the staff from the Service Manager, lot attendants and my Service Advisor Dakota were patient and let me unload my truck, checked it in and was fixed the next day! Fantastic service from the Criswell team! I have been servicing my vehicles there for 27 years More

Honestly like every other dealer, all they care about is selling the car out and then they do not even worry about what they promise the customer, well at least my salesman has been acting like that. And wh selling the car out and then they do not even worry about what they promise the customer, well at least my salesman has been acting like that. And when I come out telling them something they take the the help that they gave. You don’t do that as a buying customer they are there to help and try to sell the vehicle to you. But I guess some of them are there to seek and than after not care about the customer. Even finance I am very upset, frustrated, and will not even doe they have helped me get my vehicle with no down payment, but I have trade it my vehicles for more than was actual price. Now they don’t even try to help. Sales man just likes to seek vehicle than not care. Finance I feel the same way now. More
