I am so sorry that you were unsatisfied with your recent service visit. I did some research on your visit and see that you came in on 4/17/15 with a check engine light that we diagnosed as needing a purge valve. Normally the repair does take about an hour to complete, and the actual repair did take about that long, but we had some problems with the computer. The technician could not get the code to clear with our GDS computer system. He tried multiple times and finally did test drive the vehicle, having to shut it off and restart it several times so it could check itself (the self test on the vehicle is triggered by key cycles) and it finally cleared. The $6.75 is the "shop charge" the computer calculates on each repair ordered based on the amount of labor charged. Candi was unavailable when your vehicle was finished, and the service advisor who checked you out was not aware of the issue, so the reason for the delay was not explained properly.
