The Courtesy automotive brand has been serving Phoenix customers since 1955. Courtesy Automotive in addition has a Chevrolet store in San Diego and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store in San Juan Capistrano in CA. This will be the first new store in Phoenix since 1955. Courtesy Automotive started in 1955 with the family member Ed Fitzgerald. Not long after that, William Gruwell joined the family and the business, and today leads the organization as President of Courtesy Automotive. He is joined by his two sons, Mark Gruwell, General Manager of Courtesy San Diego, Scott Gruwell General Manager of Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix and his son in law, Jason Church, who is the General Manager of the new Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale.
The Courtesy family has three generations of ownership and is excited to add the VOLVO brand to the Courtesy Group. With the amazing line up of new VOLVO products, and the Courtesy reputation of looking after our customers, we look forward to serving the Valley's VOLVO customers.
Construction started in January, 2017 and with a completed store ready to open in August 2017. The family is excited to offer a full line up of new VOLVO cars and SUVs serving the Scottsdale, Phoenix and Paradise Valley areas at first. Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale will offer a complete line up of Certified Used VOLVOs, as we have a heritage of supporting and promoting the benefits of a strong Certified program to our customers.

When the punitive dealer-supplied contract tried to take away my legal rights with an As-is clause, Cory documented the manufacturer warranty and supplied a twelve month supplemental warranty at no cost. That saved me from walking out the door. My evaluation is: customer-focused, competent, and smart sales staff at an average dealership. If they had software degrees, I would hire them. More

Excellent Experience! I purchased a car from Courtesy Volvo of Scottsdale this past July, and the experience was great. It was very easy to negotiate a fair deal, and thei I purchased a car from Courtesy Volvo of Scottsdale this past July, and the experience was great. It was very easy to negotiate a fair deal, and their finance office even worked hard to get me the best interest rate available. The car was working great, but had the engine check light on a couple of weeks ago, and they were just as helpful when I brought it back in to have it checked out. It just needed a software update, and I was good to go, but they provided a detailing, cleaned the leather seats, and didn't mind giving me a refresher on some of the features of the car, like the park assist function. Greatly appreciated working with Jason Hise and Jeremy Sarnataro! More

I wish there was a yes/no recommend Staff was nice but practices unethical. Bait and switch upon arrival, they refused to take off two items I did not want to purchase. I expressed that Staff was nice but practices unethical. Bait and switch upon arrival, they refused to take off two items I did not want to purchase. I expressed that I did not want or need the kahu or a tire preservation product. These were added when I arrived and I was told they rarely remove from the cost and wouldn’t adjust. People were nice overall so it was a mixed experience but when you are spending your money you want someone to listen. I wish I had stuck to my guns but we’d been negotiating a while and I broke.
