I tried for 2 weeks to purchase a care from Courtesy Kia. Katelyn was the first rep I dealt with, I was out of town when she reached out to me and I asked that she contact me on Sunday upon my return. No contact Sunday or Monday so I responded to her text and sent 3 email responses to which I never got a reply. I then did another inquiry, Jorge responded. I submitted and offer with the price if they removed all of the dealership add-ons. He declined my offer but instead of asking if I was still interested he thanked me and said he was sorry he could not help then sent a much cheaper vehicle that he said was in my budget. First of all he had no idea what my budget was and I told him I was paying cash so for him to assume that was quite irritating. After Jorge, I chatted in using the chat feature online. I asked for an appointment with Andy, told them I was interested and would like to get the paperwork started so I could come in and pick up the following day. He or anyone else, for that matter responded that day so I drove to the dealership the following day. I was greeted by yet another salesperson, he did not give me a card (I think his name was Chris?) and only took my name and number and said he would call later in the day. 4 days later and I still am waiting. I guess Courtesy Kia does not like selling cars? I went to Right Toyota and had a great experience, they had what I wanted and the whole process was done within 2 hours. More
I came in to Courtesy to get a recall done the other day. Donavan was my contact person and the recalls were taken care of. Donavan told me at the next service I needed the Transmission flushed and the tire Donavan was my contact person and the recalls were taken care of. Donavan told me at the next service I needed the Transmission flushed and the tires had 70% tread left. That was good news beings I was told at the previous service which was only 4000 miles since we purchased the vehicle, that the front tires needed to be replaced immediately and if something happened my warranty would not cover it. I had purchased the and paid for the extra Certification, I was less than happy as I had purchased a tire warranty from Courtesy which I found out is only good for the tires that came with the car. Also a woman that called the other day, asking if I wanted my Sorrento serviced, I told her no and that I would never bring my car to Courtesy for anything. I asked her if she would like to know why, her reply was a simple “Not really”! We have purchased two used Kia’s, one leased, two new, and one Certified. I will go to a different brand next time and of course a different dealer. More
Austin Bacon has helped me both times I"ve been in for service, one oil change, one update on theft device. He has been stellar in my opinion. I wouldn’t even give a one star! I went in on a Saturday and was helped by CHEY a sale rep. Received good customer service while i was in the dealer ship but ever since I have review I went in on a Saturday and was helped by CHEY a sale rep. Received good customer service while i was in the dealer ship but ever since I have reviewed HORRIBLE customer service from CHEY! Saturday since it was later In the day I was informed they would not hear back from a bank and it would be best to leave and he will be in contact Monday morning, before leaving he brought up that if my friend wanted a car we could do a “double deal” and use her car as a trade in to help me. We said that would actually be great! CHEY stated send him my friends car information to get a quote to see what they would offer for her car. Which she gave him Saturday and informed her that he will have someone get that quote by Sunday and he would reach out first thing Monday morning. We said Okay great! Monday we did not hear a thing from CHEY! So my friend went in to get an update he stated his buyer was not in today and his buyer Mike will be in first thing Tuesday morning and he “CHEY” will reach out to me with an update Tuesday morning. Again all day went by without hearing from him “ CHEY” so after I got off 3pm I called very respectfully asked if he had a update because there had been NO communication even though he keep saying he will call to give me an update. Finally at almost 5pm I received a message stating “ Hello Nancy. We are submitting to the bank now.” I responded “ because again nothing has been communicated with me. “ Are you submitting for one caror for the two? “ AGAIN I got NO response. So going on 4 days without getting any information my friend went up there after 7pm, she was greeted by another sale rep and informed him she was just wanting an update and see what the quote they were offering for her car. The sale rep stated okay I’ll go find out and went and got CHEY. My friend was sitting down having no problem waiting, CHEY walked over and without even greeting her he stated “ you guys are pushing me” “ that he is with a client right now and does not have time for this. That it was submitted to the bank” my friend stated “ she was just trying to figure out what was submitted and what the quote was that they were offering for her car” CHEY stated “ he does Not know and we need to quit pushing him” my friend stated “I’m just trying to figure out what you were offering for my car” CHEY stated “ i don’t know, I think 3,400. Then stated I’ll let you guys know” and just walked away! Absolutely disgusting with how he talked to my friend I called and requested for a manager, the receptionist took a message for the manager to give me a call back and I still have NOT heard anything, an hour later I tried to call back to once again request to speak to a sale manager and the gentleman the answer the phone transferred me when I got transferred to just an extension. I hung up and called back and they would not answer my phone call! I called the number I had for CHEY asking if he could get me in contact with a sale manager and rudely he stated they are with a client, I stated I could wait he stated I can take a message or he can give me a call back, I asked. CHEY if I would get a call back tonight and with some arrogance in his voice stated “I do not know how long he will be with the client.” So I informed him if he could please request for him to call me back and I will also call in the morning. My credit has been ran over 6 time total, today 3 times and still have NOT received an update!! UPDATE!! a little more the 20 minutes after I initially posted my review I reviewed a text from CHEY after they CLOSED at 9:17pm CHEY Texted me stating “Hello Nancy. We have tried all options, and we can’t get an approval. It would take a substantial amount of money down. Sorry. We tried everything.” Which doesn’t even make sense because we were offering to put a $1000 cash plus a car that she could sell for $5086 If they wouldn’t offer a good amount for the trad. so in cash we would had OVER $6000!! More
