After browsing the inventory online, I called and asked whether a specific vehicle was still on the lot. The salesperson confirmed that it was and invited me to come down to have a look. I stopped by a whether a specific vehicle was still on the lot. The salesperson confirmed that it was and invited me to come down to have a look. I stopped by about an hour later and checked in to meet the salesperson I had spoken to earlier. He started showing me around the lot, pointing out vehicles that he thought might be of interest. After he’d pointed out several vehicles that I had absolutely no interest in, I reminded him that I was there to see the vehicle I had called about. At that time he looked at me “that truck isn’t on the lot anymore.” I asked what the heck happened because we had just spoken on the phone an hour ago. Caught in a bold faced lie, he stood there with a blank look on his face and said nothing. Finally, he said “Yeah, sorry about that. Let’s see if we can get you into something else today.” Unbelievable. Even worse is that the dealership not only condones this behavior but they actually encourage it. Do whatever it takes to get a potential customer on the lot. They’ve lost my business for life and I’ll tell anyone else who’s shopping for a vehicle to stay away as well. More

OUTSTANDING professional service from both salesmen Jeremy French and Travis Festag. They were more than helpful in their efforts to inform us on all our options for our first car purchase. My wife and Jeremy French and Travis Festag. They were more than helpful in their efforts to inform us on all our options for our first car purchase. My wife and I felt very comfortable as they led us thru the process, almost as if we were family. We went to a couple dealerships on our car search but none compared to the personable, courteous, patient and honesty we experienced with Jeremy and Travis in educating and informing us on our options while leading us thru the car buying process. We are more than happy and grateful and intend to spread the word to friends and coworkers about our experience at Courtesy Chevrolet. We realize now why is called Courtesy. More
As a car enthusiast, I have helped several family members and friends with the car buying process and my experience at Courtesy Chevrolet was by far the worst one I’ve had. This review is long, so the short and friends with the car buying process and my experience at Courtesy Chevrolet was by far the worst one I’ve had. This review is long, so the short take is do not buy a car from this dealership if you can help it, especially if you are buying from out of state. I drove 5.5 hours to buy a specific used vehicle at Courtesy. They reserved it and had it ready for me to look at and test drive, which was nice and the only positive part of my experience. I know it was a Saturday afternoon I was there, but everyone in the buying process was indifferent and my salesperson even left before I had finished with finance. Every time I asked a question to the finance representative, it was clear he did not want to be there, which was also evidenced by his error in the amount I was financing, and he had to redo the paperwork. They also forced me to pay $995 for extras including a vehicle tracking GPS, window tinting, and nitrogen tire refills (I don’t even live in the area), which every other dealership I have worked with has removed when I have pushed the topic. Their explanation was that inventory is in high demand so if I didn’t want to pay it, someone else would. No one explained to me the process of and how challenging it would be to register the car in a different state, and I had to figure this all out on my own in the weeks to come – 2-3 weeks for the state of Arizona to update the title information, 4-6 weeks for it to get to the lienholder, then 5-7 business days for it to get to my local DMV. Overall, a several-months-long process to actually register the car; none of which was addressed to me. I have spent hours at the local DMV and on the phone with the bank, Arizona DOT and local DMV to figure all this out. The delivery of the car was another unpleasant experience. One of the side mirrors was broken, and both the dealership and I signed paperwork saying that this would be fixed before delivery. I was at the dealership and completed paperwork on a Saturday and was told I would likely have the car delivered the following Tuesday or Wednesday once the mirror was fixed. However, it took some time to get the parts, which is understandable, but I was not updated adequately and had to call every couple of days for a status update, which people were consistently unsure about. The time estimate kept changing and I eventually got the car the following Tuesday (10 days after purchase). Upon delivery, the car had no temporary plates or temporary registration, so I was unable to drive it. I had to proactively contact the dealership about this, and they emailed me temporary plates, which I had to go print and attach myself. Additionally, the tank was almost empty, which is simply poor service, especially since I was told they would deliver with a full tank. A huge lack of “courtesy” for a dealership with the same name, especially when it would only cost ~$20-30 to fill up the car (about 1/1000th of the amount I am paying them for it). I have never heard of a dealership not selling/delivering a car with a full tank. Finally, and the most frustrating part of delivery, was that the mirror I had waited for 10 days to be fixed was not fully fixed to a point where it was not safe – it was not adjustable and was pointed towards the side of the car. I called and spoke with a manager who said to take it to a local dealership and get an estimate to fix it and update them. The local dealership told me that normally, this would be covered under warranty, but that the mirror had been broken internally when it was attempting to be fixed. However, they wanted me to have a good experience with their brand and did me the courtesy of fixing it for free. I let Courtesy Chevrolet know about this and never heard back. The last thing I would like to note is the lack of cohesiveness/communication across the dealership. I purchased the car on a Saturday and received 4 sales emails within the 6 days after I bought the car asking me about my interest in buying a car at Courtesy. I even received a call from a salesperson at Courtesy asking if I was still in the market for a vehicle the following Thursday. I literally purchased a vehicle from their dealership and was contacted 5 times in the 6 days following by salespeople trying to sell me a vehicle, which I feel is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable with how advanced CRM products are today. On top of this, the listing online was updated on Wednesday with a new price after I had purchased it on Saturday. When I called to ask about availability, I was told the car was available and was asked whether I would like to come in for a test drive. As a whole, stay away from this dealership, especially if you are buying out of state. “Courtesy” Chevrolet is ironic, it is far from the case. More
