Check engine light My appointment was at 7:30 am. I was told that I would receive a text when they began to look at my vehicle. I received a text a 3:26 pm. What was the purpose of an appointment if you were going to hold on to my vehicle all day. I forced to leave my car there another day. This to me is unreasonable when you have made an early morning appointment. At the least, my vehicle should have been completed before the close of business. I purchased this car brand new and this is the 2nd time that the check engine light has come on in the past 3 months. The inconvenience and loss of money it frustrating. I have to take of work to bring my vehicle in to find out what the issue is on a 2017 Malibu. It would appear to me that the quality of GM products is taking a dive. I have to put gas in your loaner car when the issue was not something that falls on me. If GM can cover the rental they should cover the gas too. I lost pay because my car was not completed in a timely manner. We all do not have the leisure of being salaried. Some of us are hourly employees. If my vehicle would have been completed in the same day I would not have lost out on pay. Something to think about. . . . More

The fact that a high-up GM Exec took the initiative to start this ball rolling - down to the detailed service I got, based on a 5 minute conversation about quality. Second chances On two occasions, my past two visits actually I’ve had to reschedule a visit. On the first I had brought my Tahoe in for an oil change and there was On two occasions, my past two visits actually I’ve had to reschedule a visit. On the first I had brought my Tahoe in for an oil change and there was some recall having to be addressed. Oil change went well however when getting on the freeway when I departed I noticed the check engine light was on. I called the service department/dealership and was told I’d have to schedule an appointment to be seen and the next appointment was over 4 days away. Not happy. Turns out something in the engine compartment was left unplugged. Took 2 mins for me an hour round trip and 4 days of consternation from my wife as the Tahoe is her vehicle to work and pick up the kids. No apologies or anything notable. Fast forward this past week, I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and was told it would be an hour and I was very clear about needing to pick up my kids at school. Told no problem it would be ready. At 45 minutes the car was still not being worked on and walks in were serviced before my car two vehicles that had arrived after me with no appointments. I rescheduled for this past Wednesday and was greeted by Tyler who was the service person last Friday and understood the situation. Very apologetic and helpful. He took great care of the service call offering a free oil change and tire rotation even after I stated I wasn’t looking for anything special just to get the oil change done. I appreciate the customer service for sure and the commitment to making things right for the customer. It’s good business. Tyler himself was was awesome and sincere. Thank you Courtesy and please pass a gracious thank you to Tyler! More
Larry my Service Center rep is awesome. I'm a retired female no car mechanical skills. Larry is a straight shooter. I took my car in for a rattling noise. I don't speak car mechanic jargon, so he listened to me, took my car for a drive, heard it and thought he knew what it was. I brought my car in after the weekend, he had it fixed and out in a short time. So my car is rattle free AND it was still under warranty. Always the same treatment. I'm really glad Larry is my Service Rep at Courtesy Chevrolet. would highly recommend Larry and Solon as a great salesman. Plus he had my car washed and dried by the time Lyft returned me to the Service Center. Couldn't ask for more. More
