I brought my vehicle in during a seemingly 'slow' time but the sense was that the employees were busied and was only interested in the minimum information required to perform service. This is the second scheduled servicing where the response from the employees was sort of 'meh'. I don't recall the name of the service cashier, but she was personable and professional. A good example of customer service in my opinion. I intentionally bypass several Buick dealers to bring my vehicle in for service as this is the dealer from which I made my purchase. If the customer service improves, I will make my next purchase from here as well. If it declines, I will take my business elsewhere. Other than the observation outlined here, the results of the attained service have been at least on par with other manufacturers that I have dealt with. I would hope that the level of customer service continues or improves. More
I recently purchased a 2017 GMC pickup. It was the best buying experience I have ever had. From the first phone call, to set up the appointment, to driving the truck home, all aspects of the process were easy. The entire sales staff were really incredible. They were all so professional and nice it made it a pleasure to deal with them. I will absolutely go back to Country Buick GMC of Leesburg for my next purchase. More

I have dealt with this dealership's sales team many times over the past three years. The words that I would use to describe my experience with their sales team are: pushy, desperate, disrespectful, non-trans over the past three years. The words that I would use to describe my experience with their sales team are: pushy, desperate, disrespectful, non-transparent, borderline unethical, and vastly more interested in increasing their profit margins than they are in finding the best fit for a happy customer. The sales guy that I worked with doesn't listen to the customer's requirements and tries desperately to push the customer into buying whatever leftover inventory is on the lot instead of finding the right fit for the customer. On the first truck that I bought from them, the sales manager came back at the last minute with an excuse for why she needs to increase the price that they had already agreed to. On a different deal, they insisted that I wasn't eligible for the extra GM supplier pricing rebate, which would have cheated me out of $1,750. (I went to another dealership, got that rebate and a lower price so I know Country was either lying or inept.) While signing paperwork, the finance manager brought up red state - blue state politics in Virginia, which is extremely inappropriate and really ticked me off. I recently made the mistake of bringing a friend in to buy an SUV. We went on a test drive of one vehicle that he was considering, but it wasn't a good fit. When he gave the salesman negative but honest feedback on that particular vehicle, the salesman got defensive, yelled "it's a commuter car", turned his back on us and walked back inside the showroom in a huff leaving us standing outside in the lot in disbelief. We went directly to another dealership and he bought a vehicle that day. The difference between the sales processes at the two dealerships was night and day. Country's was unpleasant, unhelpful, and downright rude. The other dealership was the opposite: genuinely friendly, no pressure, focused on earning a happy repeat customer, organized, responsive, pleasant, efficient, excellent post-sales follow up. And finally, I raised these issues with three different people at the dealership. They could have addressed these issues and negated the need for reviews like this, but they couldn't be bothered to respond. More
My extremely satisfying experience Alan was extremely helpful in getting me in to my new car. He found me exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be a return customer. GOOD PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH I read the other reviews (5) and I think they must have been at some other dealer. They did not reflect the service I received from Star Buick, GMC. T I read the other reviews (5) and I think they must have been at some other dealer. They did not reflect the service I received from Star Buick, GMC. The sales staff was very personable and low pressure. I felt like I got a fair deal on the purchase of a new vehicle. I will continue to review Star as my service experience with them continues. More
Don"t waste your money I purchased a used vehicle at the end of November. I was told that the extended warranty covers everything except what is on the paper they hand you I purchased a used vehicle at the end of November. I was told that the extended warranty covers everything except what is on the paper they hand you for the warranty. The same night I signed the loan and took it home. The third row power seats did not work when i got home. I contacted them the next morning and told them about the issue. I was blown off by the salesman that sold me the car. He wanted to make sure I went to dealer rate and said i had a good experience. I took my vehicle to Star that Monday during lunch to have them look at it. I work 5 minutes away and by the time i got back to work they had called and said it will have to go some where else. Now my inside Trim panel is cracking and I am told that the extended warranty does not cover that. A bunch of 70's used cars salesman. I told them the very next day after signing the loan that they are a horrible dealership and I do not want the vehicle. I got no response about that email. DO NOT BUY FROM STAR BUICK. More
Two months ago, I purchased a used car from Star Pontiac only to find out I have $2000 worth of repairs that were needed. When I went to the dealer and explained my disappointment, they told me that they w only to find out I have $2000 worth of repairs that were needed. When I went to the dealer and explained my disappointment, they told me that they weren't obligated to help. The issues arose after the 30 day warranty and were not covered under the extended warranty I purchased. Had I know the car was a LEMON I wouldn't have purchased it at all. My family has been a big supporter of the dealership in the past but not any more. More
The service manager Rob was polite enough however the whole service department appears populated with unscrupulous hacks. I ended up having to go back 4 different times in three days to get a simple 50k mile maintenance II and a state inspection. They blatantly overcharged me in two different places on my bill to the tune of over 200 dollars which was corrected once I pointed it out. You want to pay 105.52 for an oil change? Star Pontiac is the place to get it done. I probably wouldn't have bothered to write a scathing review but after coming out of this experience, I took my vehicle to another mechanic to have it looked over. He stated that the brake fluid looked terrible. I dropped by myself to take a look and sure enough, it did appear terrible. I found this very surprising since I'd just paid Star Pontiac 152.67 to flush the brake system. I now feel that I just pissed 2000 dollars down the drain and unfortunately, that's likely the case. I should have known better after watching the service staff show up for work. When I dropped off my vehicle at 7:00am, two of the service employees were finishing up changing into their work clothes in front of the customers. If I had to summarize their appearance, I'd say they pulled 5 guys out of prison on work release and sent them to Star Pontiac to work on cars. They were dressed in dirty service blues, yes dirty at the beginning of the shift. One had cut the sleeves off his shirt. In a word, they all looked terribly unprofessional. They also replaced a tie rod end and performed an alignment as a result of noticing something from the inspection. This time I know they actually did some work because now there is an annoying squeak coming from the suspension. Am I going to take it back and ask them to fix it? Uh, no, I'd rather pay someone qualified to diagnose and remedy the issue. Please do yourself and your car a favor and stay as far away from the service department as possible. If you feel inclined to go there, just take some money out and burn it. You'll probably be better off than letting the dirty dozen get their hands on your vehicle. More
Went there to have oild changed but was told that the car needs repairs and they would cost 2700 dollars. We declined to have the car serviced. The technitian then told us the the check up fee is more than 1 needs repairs and they would cost 2700 dollars. We declined to have the car serviced. The technitian then told us the the check up fee is more than 100 dollars since they charge 95 dollars per hour. This information was not disclosed to us before they checked the car. It does not seem ethical. More
