Agreed to a price and trade in value via emails. Drove in to sign the paperwork in the middle of the corona virus pandemic. Update: I was contacted by Mr. James Clark, managing partner of Matt Taylor KIA, who was very apologetic and sincere. He agreed that many mistakes were made that should have never of happened. I truly enjoyed talking to James even though this was a very uncomfortable situation. He did make me feel more at ease. I upgraded my review to 5 stars based on his ability to make things right and my aftersales interactions with many other staff members. My confidence in Matt Taylor Kia has been restored. When I took delivery of my new car, I spoke with various other high character individuals. Vince the finance man as well as Steven and Ivy in sales were very polite and respectful. If you are on the fence of where to buy, I would still recommend Matt Taylor Kia. Ask for Ivy or Steven and you will likely have a great experience. Could not have ask for a more pleasant car buying experience. Our salesman (Steve Jenkins) made our car buying experience feel like we was family. He toured was around the dealership and made us knowledgeable about the dealership before we even started talking about cars. Then he ask what we was looking for in a car so he understood what we wanted. He walked around to show us numerous cars and make us knowledgeable about every car and took his time letting us look and make us feel more than just someone to sale another car to. He sat down with us and helped us decide on a car by answering any questions we had. He spent plenty of time with us going over the vehicle we chose and spent plenty of time with us on the test drive showing and telling us about the different features the vehicle had. Everyone at this dealership talked to us and treated us like family and they had known us forever. I have to say this was the best car buying experience I ever had. Ivy at Matt Taylor Kia provided top notich service when I purchased a used Mustang fron thier site. She picked me up fron the airport, got all of the paperwork in order before I got there and made doubly sur purchased a used Mustang fron thier site. Make dreams come true. My husband and I have worse than bad credit. I was divorced years ago and my ex assumed all debt. Means my name was taken off all the accounts. No one will give me even the smallest credit card. That's ok. I pay cash for everything any way. But my car was ready to die. The engine sounded like a chainsaw. I had zero belief that I could get a bank to loan me enough to get a reliable used car. No matter how cheap. From the moment we walked on to the lot, I was sure we were going home empty handed and would have to go to another buy here pay here lot to replace my car with something that wouldn't last more than a year. Steve told us not to give up. He was going to work to get us in a good car. It was 11 hours at the dealership. We test drove a few cars. He worked so hard to make us happy. They even stayed 3 hours past closing time to get us reliable teansportation. First bank they called approved the loan. That takes some know how with our situation. See I'm on disability and social security doesn't pay much. But it's not just getting the loan. My husband had his heart set on me having a newer car. Something from this decade. They surprised us to no end. My husband had told Steve he really wanted a Nissan Rogue. The one they had on the lot was very high miles and had nothing modern about it. By this time my husband was ready to give up. The loan officer had been listening from his office. He made a phone call. We saw a flat bed truck pull in. A little while later Steve says he has a surprise we just have to see. Parked right at the door was a 2016 Nisson Rogue, in the red I wanted. It had 38,000 miles on it. Absolutely mint condition. The warranty is for 3 years. My husband thought they were kidding him. He just couldn't believe they had got him exactly what he wanted. Needless to say we will never go anywhere else. They went above and beyond. I still keep looking at that SUV and pinching myself. It's so clean it looks like it just rolled off the factory floor. I really need to mention Steve not only got us exactly what we wanted, he also got my insurance at a crazy price that made the car affordable. About $150. 00 less than I was expecting for full coverage. Now, you can all go see for yourself. I can't give these guys enough love. More
