My car was leaking oil a week after an oil change at Corwin. I dropped the car off and Seth go it in fast to check for the cause of the leak. I was welcomed professionally and cheerfully. I told the service rep that I was going to wait for the car in the waiting room, and he advised me that the car service would be completed in about 9 I told the service rep that I was going to wait for the car in the waiting room, and he advised me that the car service would be completed in about 90 minutes. In reality the car was ready in maybe an hour, probably less. The rep went over the all points of the maintenance and everything was thoroughly explained, including what maintenance would be needed in the future. A very pleasant experience! More
I was pleasantly surprised with my service experience yesterday as it took 2.5 hours in my previous visit to complete an oil change. Rork was great, took time to answer my questions and help through the maintenance process. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the accessories department. I wanted to buy and install some side step rails for my new 4runner and with limited questions the guys assured me they could do it while I waited...an hour later they came to me saying my limited wasn't able to have them installed...they really should ask the proper questions before making a customer wait that long to be turned away. Compared to my last visit, Corwin has really improved their service. The flow from the minute of drove into the garage was flawless and the communication throughout the time I waited was perfect. The estimated time for the service was two hours. After two and a half hours I texted for an estimated time for pickup. I was told one half hour more. OK. Price for service given to me by the tech was significantly higher than I was told on the phone when I made the appointment. The tech told me the girls who answer the phones in service don't really know the costs. Really? Classic bate and switch. When a customer calls and asks how much a service is going to be they want to know the exact figure including tax and shop fees. Oil was dripped across the engine air filter housing. It would have been easy for the tech to take a rag and wipe it off, but he left for me to clean up. All-in-all a very poor service experience. More
