Oil change was done, but missed state inspection Oil Change on the car was completed ok, but did not complete the NY state inspection. I had to bring the car in the next day to get that completed. Too many problems, after a used Engine was replace. I still gave them four stars because of Al Rosseter .but it has been a nightmare with the replace ENGINE THAT WAS. REPLACE IN AUGUST 2019 . We have ha I still gave them four stars because of Al Rosseter .but it has been a nightmare with the replace ENGINE THAT WAS. REPLACE IN AUGUST 2019 . We have had one problem after another . The Engine light still comes on , there was a problem with the wiring harness. Then all of the lights on the dash started flashing and I had to have it towed back in to the center and after eight days the problem was found to be the wiring harness. That was covered by my extended warranty but for the time being I was without a vehicle for five of the eight days. I but But I’m glad to have had Al Rosseter assistance with my car. More
Have been going here for 20 years. We have gone to the service department at Cortese for 20 years. The only car that I have owned that I did not bring for service here was a 2009 Cadill We have gone to the service department at Cortese for 20 years. The only car that I have owned that I did not bring for service here was a 2009 Cadillac CTSV with the supercharged engine, because the technicians did not have the equipment to handle the engine. Otherwise, every car that I have owned, they do the work on the car, even beyond the warranty period. More
Actually, it was awesome. I haven't bought a car at Cortese, but I have been using their Service Department since about 2013, and they just got even better since Al started wor I haven't bought a car at Cortese, but I have been using their Service Department since about 2013, and they just got even better since Al started working there. I've been struggling with a repeating set of winter problems, things like my battery pooping out when the temp is below zero, and my tires disintegrating, and while Cortese service department did their best for the most part, it wasn't until today that Al, who's new, helped me understand what the underlying problem is and how to avoid most of the negative results. Basic problem, which I didn't figure out, and no one else did, until this week, is that until moving to the NE US in 2011, I've lived my entire life on the West Coast, and had no experience with NE winters, and no idea what kinds of problems winter weather could cause, especially in a car permanently parked in an open lot. Al explained specifically and in depth, made suggestions for how to avoid a lot of what I've had to deal with repeatedly every year, and left me feeling like I wasn't helpless (and stupid) after all. Great feeling! Thanks, Al!!! More
