Mike, I can only apologize for the air bag re-call taking so long as it did but we can only do the work when the parts become available and you were scheduled as soon as they were available. As far as the memory feature on the seat goes as everyone has explained to you, it is not a essential feature which would keep a 2007 Ford Edge with 112,000 miles from operating properly, the power seats, windows and mirrors all work fine you just would need to move the seat with the controls instead of the memory button when someone else adjusts it. There are service contracts available for customers to protect their vehicles for this reason, automobiles are complex piece's of equipment that have many parts that can wear out with miles and/or age, and as much as we would like to replace every potential item that may break it's impossible to do and keep the price of the vehicles competitive in todays used car market. Anyway as we discussed before we could do the repair and offer you a discount on the work, or you could use the memory feature that does work but just have to re-adjust the mirrors up, when you use them.
