My only issues with the sale were the length of time it took to complete the transaction and outdated information on the website. The website stated that the used car I was looking at has 23,000+ miles wh took to complete the transaction and outdated information on the website. The website stated that the used car I was looking at has 23,000+ miles while it actually had 24000+ miles on it. Periodic updates of mileage because of test drives and other use would be helpful. Whne I made my appointment to test drive and purchase the car I was very clear that I needed to be done by a certain time. I was assured it would not be a problem. 10 minutes after that deadline the car was going in to be washed. (I took it home dirty). In the future it mmight be a good idea to havde the car ready togo ahead of time. More
A few months ago I mentioned Lora was having trouble with her Dodge. You said " Bring it in and we'll take care of it!" Your people were great! Last week she hit a pot hole and needed work done in the body s her Dodge. You said " Bring it in and we'll take care of it!" Your people were great! Even after the sale was complete, I had a concern and John Cortese took the time personally address my concerns which was appreciated. Overall the environment was excellent(make sure you schedule an appointment), the tour of the service area and lounge revealed a comfortable future transactions, the staff was friendly and fair. They are definately doing some things right here. If you do your prep and know what a fair deal would be, I am sure Cortese can make it happen for you, and I witnessed first hand that they care about every customer and deal they make. More
Went in to look at the new Explorer & fell in love with the car. John sat down with me and went through all the options available to make sure I got everything I wanted & not paying for things I didn' with the car. I had to order the vehicle & was worried it might not be in before my lease was up. They told me not to worry, it may only be a week or so & they could get me a loaner if I needed it. They spent the time to find additional rebates that I didn't even know were available. Shane spent a lot of time delivering the car. He went through every aspect of the car including all the touch sceens applications for navagation, music, climate control & cell usage and set up my cell phone with the sync system. Would highly recommend Cortese Auto group and Shane at the Ford store More
The sales person who worked with me was unfamiliar with the vehicle that he was trying to sell me - this should have been an obvious sign to me that competency would be called into question. The following day when I went to pick up my Jeep there was some confusion and I met with several different people who all tried to get me to purchase warranties that would cover parts my Jeep did not and would never have. After my ten minute drive home I realized that there were severe brake problems that would require me to take it back. This vehicle would not have passed inspection. Is that legal? Cortese then told me they would order the part and contact me. This they failed to do. There were many things that Cortese failed to do, and the problem does not just concern one member of the staff but I would say multiple members. My problem has been corrected after speaking to many people, including the owner, and I cannot say that I feel satisfied or that I would EVER purchase another vehicle or dare to reccomend them to anyone. My experience was one of frustration and confusion that the investment that I just made was a horrible one. More
