We called and asked a few questions on Sunday and scheduled a visit for Thursday as we were coming over 100 miles to see this vehicle..Upon arrival at 11 am..they had the car out and ready for a test drive..after very fair negotiations we went to lunch in one of their vehicles and drove home at 430 pm with our new vehicle..EVERYTHING WAS EXCEPTIONAL..everyone we dealt with including the detail person and mechanic was respectful and extremely courteous. The day before I was to pick up the car, the sales manager called and said they made a mistake, the car would actually be $4,500 more than they quoted. I asked them to honor their deal. No. "There is no way this deal is going to happen," I was told. I even received a nasty phone call from Mr. John Cortese himself who suggested that their mistake was my fault and that somehow I was trying to scam the dealership. If you're looking for an honest dealer - go somewhere else. What really gets me though, is that they would have sold to me at MSRP and felt no remorse that the deal was not in my favor. However, when the deal is not in THEIR favor, they balk. More

Never again First and last time I would ever go to Cortese. We did get a nice car at a nice price. But the experience was far from nice. We picked out a car on Sunday and agreed to be in Monday evening to pick it up. Had some questions to clear up on Monday and had a hard time to get a hold of anyone. When we finally got a call back, we confirmed that we would be in at 5:30 to pick the car up. When we got there had to wait almost an hour to even start the paperwork. When we got to their finance person he said someone added wrong and the price was $17.50 more. Yes, that not a mistake he said it was $17.50 more. Now we are talking about a $30,0000 car. But I don't care if it was $1750 or $1.75 more. The whole thing had this sleazy stereotypical used car salesman feel to it. We just wanted to get out of there so we gave them the extra $17.50 and left. It's not about the money, it's the principle. I felt like I had to take a shower after I left the place. More

I called and was put in touch with Sam Cubiotti nod was very pleasantly surprised with the sincere honest conversation we had. After about a 10 min. Call and a couple of call backs we had a great deal and were on our way to Rochester, 80 miles away to buy our new Chrysler 300. On arrival everyone treated us like we were the only customers there, and we weren't, they took care of all our concerns and we were on aright schedule so they speeded up the process and soon we were on our way home .Very Happy. I will recommend Sam and the Cortese dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car. Great atmosphere, clean showroom and courteous employees. I will definitely be back. More

Started out Wonderful First of all, Sam Cubiotti our salesman was wonderful.. it went down hill from there...recently purchased 2010 Chrysler 300. Nice car..love it,, when we test drove it on a Saturday morning,,,10am, we felt a grinding of the front right wheel,,,reported it along with a few dirty stains on the cream colored visor.....said it would be checked into,,,bought the car and was out of there in a hour or so,,,,said we would pick up the car noon Monday.....went to get the car Monday,,,it wasnt ready...we said ok ..so we waited...finally got the car and was out of there 2 1/2 hours LATER!!!... stains still on the visor,,,couldnt get them out...car was filthy...but washed outside,,,who ever was in charge of detailing this car should be taught how to clean the interior,,,even the winter salt residue was on the driver's side floor,,but nicely covered up with their nice new advertising mats. ...took the car home and I started to clean it,,the visor stain came right out with a wipe of a sponge.,,,vacuumed the car.... 5 pennies in the console and glove box,,,melted ice cream or something in the cup holder,,,,and this is the way they send home a car just purchased,,,the outside was beautiful,,,not so much the inside....3 day later took the car back for the wheel noise,,, all new brakes and rotors were needed on the front....Cortese paid for it,,,and I thanked them ,,but they should have been done BEFORE I picked up the car,,, It was never checked!.....when they pulled the car out for me to take , I noticed that the lug nut cover was missing on the front wheel facing me. They came out and grudgingly replaced it,,,very grouchy young man...he then walks around to the other side of the car to check if any were missing...looked and walked away and off I went home,,,when I got home,,, I noticed there were 3 MISSING from the side he looked at and walked away from,,,3!...he just ignored it...I am 64 years old,,,have purchased a huge number of cars in my life time and have never been so disappointed in service people,,, The service managers were wonderful,,,it is the actual people doing the work on the vehicles I am unhappy with,,,will I go back? NO! I bought the Premium extended warranty and will go to another chrysler dealer for work to be done,,, Sale Person Excellent,,, Service Mangers Excellent,,,,the people that were responsible for checking out, cleaning and maintenance of my newly purchased car were not,,,! More
