Bait and switch! Plain and simple. The internet sales guy lowballed the quotes, promised the world saying “it’s the end of the year, please come in person and my mana Plain and simple. The internet sales guy lowballed the quotes, promised the world saying “it’s the end of the year, please come in person and my manager can get you even better numbers than these I’m providing !”, etc. Once I finally arrived to close the deal (made an appointment and confirmed the car was available), guess what happened? The car was just sold one hour ago! But “don’t worry, we have the next best model and we can get you a great deal! We will even take a loss to make you happy and get you to buy it today! “ After the test drive, the surprise: the numbers presented were much higher than discussed over the phone! Their response? It was MY mistake. I misunderstood! No way we gave you this price you want to pay over the phone! So I got up and left. Wasted my time! P.S: heres a tip: ask for numbers in writing before leaving your house. Otherwise they won’t be liable for their lies! But keep in mind the car you’re going to see might get sold in record times and by the time you get there you might have to buy the more expensive trim! More
