This was my frist car purchased from Commonwealth Kia, and my families fourth purchase. We have yet to have any type of bad experience. Bob McLean was an amazing sales man. When We went to look at the 2013 Kia Rio, which I leased,we didn't feel pressured. I was in the car biz for 16 plus years and have delt with aloit of sales staff and I have to say Robert McLean was one of the best!!! This was my first new car and Bob made it a big deal for me. This is a great car dealership. I bought my new Kia here a few months ago and was completely satisfied with everything. I just brought my new Kia in for a service for a oil change. I didnt need a appointmen a few months ago and was completely satisfied with everything. I just brought my new Kia in for a service for a oil change. I didnt need a appointment, I just brought it in. They took my car right in and checked it over and did what they had to do. I felt like a valuable customer, they care about how my car is and they care about me. I love this dealership! More

People were friendly enough, the price of an oil change was way to high. $39.88 Are you kidding me? I will not go back to this dealership for service. I was told by the woman at the counter where I paid th was way to high. $39.88 Are you kidding me? I will not go back to this dealership for service. I was told by the woman at the counter where I paid that if I had bought the car here the price would be almost half. The dealer in Wilmington only charges $ 19.95 and I didn't buy my car their. I guess Commonwealth does not want my business. They lost my business for any trade-ins or new cars too. When my husband got home, he looked at the car and saw that there was oil spilled on the motor and was dripping on the ground. He called the service department and was put on hold for at least 10 minutes before someone came on the line. The person he spoke with was not at all helpful and in fact was defending the work saying sometimes the oil burps when adding and spills out. If that was the case, why wasn't it cleaned up? This kind of work is unexceptible. Below is the response from Commonwealth Kia. While I do understand the rewards program is valid, I do not think other customers should have to make up for it. I do not care that your preferred customer prices are lowest. I care that all customers are treated fairly. I also find it strange that only good reviews are posted. Commonwealth Kia wrote on 5/31/2012 3:31:02 PM: We apologize that you feel this price is too much. We reward our customers who have purchased from us and to thank them for their business with preferential pricing, you can call it a rewards program similar to any of the retail stores(CVS, etc) that you go to. Our preferred customer price is the lowest in the area and is more than $5 less than the dealer you purchased from. We use genuine Kia factory parts and have the oil changes performed by factory trained technicians who have been trained to take care of your specific vehicle. Its not that we don't want your business, we appreciate all of our customers, but we do like to reward the customers who have purchased their vehicle from us and give them a savings package to go with their vehicle purchase More
