We think Forrest is pretty special as well! As for our finance manager and the dealership as a whole, as the owner and overseer of the staff, I can assure you that your observations are skewed because we can only work with information given to us by our customers AND we have to assume that the information provided to us is accurate. If, after the information is processed, we find out that it is NOT accurate, we are unable to offer an experience that is desirable to both parties. We do not make lending decisions. That can only be done by the lenders we use to help our customers get financing. If they determine that our customer is not a good fit, then they reserve the right to deny financing. That is exactly what happened to you and it wouldn't matter if it was our dealership or any other dealership. The result would have been the same. Hopefully by knowing this, we hope you will re-assess your feelings about our operation. A Christensen, Owner/Principal.

The vehicle was bought AS-IS. However, I said we would set an appointment to have it looked at to see if we could get the protection plan to cover it. The client proceeded to yell, curse and name call.

And the dealer processed to lie, deny and accuse. You knew what the vehicle needed yet you chose an unsuspecting consumer to unload your problem vehicle to. And I sure did yell, cuss and name call. Because anytime you tell me that I damaged something that I barely even drove that Sir. Is a problem. Why was I yelling and cussing because you sold me a car with damages that could amount to thousands of dollars out of my pockets that I don’t have. Please don’t play the victim here. I AM THE VICTIM OF DISHONEST SALES PRACTICES. You took advantage of a single woman in a jam trying to find a reliable car. Yes… you did now own that!!!

Like all vehicles we offer, Miss Sparks purchased her vehicle "as is: from our dealership. She did purchase an "optional" vehicle protection plan (aka warranty/extended service contract) on the vehicle. Miss Sparks came back a week after the purchase stating there was something dragging beneath the vehicle and the air conditioning was not functioning properly. Because she had the vehicle for only a week, I told her we would be willing to offer a "goodwill" repair and take care of whatever was dragging beneath the car.  I then told her she would need an appointment to have the air conditioning issue examined. At that point she became verbally hostile and unreasonable, yelling, name calling, cursing and accusatory.  After a few minutes of this behavior, she was asked to leave which she refused to do, all the while screaming obscenities and accusations about how we knowingly sold her a "junk" car. She continued this behavior, so I told her I was calling the police, to which she replied "go ahead...they won't do anything", and continued her hostile behavior. She came back in in this past Tuesday and we attempted to address the undercarriage scraping noise, but once again became unruly and hostile when we asked her to leave the service shop area because of OSHA safety regulations. Miss Sparks is correct, that is not how we do business.  Furthermore we will not be held hostage by a person who doesn't know how to behave in a business environment in a civil manner. D. On Monday August 9, 2023, after I came back from a retreat I went to this dealership to drop off the title to my traded vehicle. I asked the salesman who I bought the car from if he would step outside. I preceded to show the salesman that something was dragging underneath the car. He took me back into the dealership into the office of Doug, the finance person, who I did my paperwork with. He told Doug of both issues. Doug stated to me that I had a warranty on the vehicle and that he would schedule an appointment to look at the thing that was dragging underneath the car and that I had to call the warranty company about the A.C. as I continued to be dissatisfied with his answer, he blamed the damage of the vehicle on me! He stated, “How did he I know that I didn’t damage the vehicle. The fact was the vehicle had been sitting in a parking lot for a week and hadn’t been driven by anyone, this I tried to explain to Doug, who also was upset screaming and calling names. With all that, he still got the title to my vehicle. I tried to speak to both these men with respect and to get the issues addressed every time I came into the dealership after I purchased this vehicle I came alone. No one else but me, I am 5’0, I weight less than 150 pounds why would I go into a dealership full of males and start screaming and name calling. Both of these men were disrespectful every time I came into the dealership about these issues. They saw a single, woman and dare I say black woman and thought they were going to take advantage of me. They sold me a car that had an object dragging underneath it and the A.C. didn’t work. They kept talking about my behavior after the fact. Yes, I was pissed, Yes, I felt disrespected from him accusing me of damaging the vehicle after I knew fully that I hadn’t driven it. But the fact remains, they sold me this car with these issues and weren’t willing to provide a reasonable remedy. The have made excuse after excuse even calling the police on me twice. To NOT FIX THESE ISSUES! That was the first encounter. After I went back into the dealership Doug and I have a conversation, he again tells me to expect a call Monday or Tuesday to come into the dealership to get the dragging issue fixed. I never received a call, be mindful that there is something underneath the vehicle that is dragging so I can ONLY drive the car in emergencies. I go into the dealership Tuesday, I see Steve again. He was disrespectful, he attempted to drive my vehicle to the repair shop attached to the building, I was not allowing that. Because of how they had treated me up until this point. I drove my vehicle around to the shop, while on the phone with the Attorney Generals office. They would not allow me in the shop area so I stood outside making my complaint. The person on the phone asked for the vehicle’s vin number I go to get the vin number and Steve continues to tell me I’m not allowed in the shop, I tell him the person needs the vin number to the vehicle, he gets upset and tries to close the garage door with my car in the garage. I didn’t allow him to do so because I went under the door and got in the garage with them and my vehicle. The owner of the car lot comes out , yelling at me asking me if I knew what OSHA WAS AND THAT I COULDN’T BE IN THE SHOP. They treated me like crap every other time I have come into the shop after my purchase. All I was trying to do was be safe in the new car I just purchased. I don’t think anyone goes to any business and purchases a vehicle to be unable to use it the same day they make the purchase. The car was sold “AS IS” but “AS IS” doesn’t mean you put people in vehicles that are unsafe, and dragging an object down the street is definitely unsafe. I own all of my actions in this place, and I thank God that I didn’t let them get over on me. Even though they definitely did. Please anyone reading this. “Do NOT SEND YOUR MOTHER , WIFE, OR FEMALE LOVED ONES TO THIS SHOP ALONE. GO with HER, because you never know how she’ll be treated especially if the car has issues. On a side note. The last time I was in the dealership, there was a black man there who saw what was happening and how I was being treated he had me follow him to his shop. It took him less than ten minutes to secure the object that was dragging underneath my car. Less than 10 minutes. Why hadn’t the dealership done this? And my A.C. Is still not working but I’ll reach out to THE WARRANTY COMPANY… REMEMBER THE ONE HE SAYS I DON’T HAVE! YES THEM! I’ll reach out to them later, because I can’t do so now or it will be deemed a preexisting condition and they won’t pay to fix it anyway🤷🏾‍♀️ I just shared with you the CAR FACTS! As I SAID I WAS PISSED THEN AND I AM STILL PISSED NOW PLEASE DON’T BUY A CAR FROM THIS DISRESPECTFUL PLACE!
