Referred a family member I referred a family member as I had purchased my last 4 vehicles from Gates, although he lives in Ellington and was planning on going to Seraphin, I r I referred a family member as I had purchased my last 4 vehicles from Gates, although he lives in Ellington and was planning on going to Seraphin, I raved about my experiences at Gates and told him I'd get 100.00 if he referred me, as widely known from the radio, television and advertisements . He decided to give Columbia Ford his business and made sure to have Tim write down my information, as I did refer him. I am extremely disappointed to say that apparently there is a catch and I never received my"birddog fee". The money makes no real difference , it's the principal and the false advertising that is fed to consumers in this area that concerns us. I pride myself on my integrity and ask the same of the places my family and I do business with, unfortunately Columbia Ford acted in a way I feel does not emulate these standards of integrity. More
