Great all-around buying experience I thought I hated the car buying experience. Columbia Ford proved me wrong. The employees here had my best interests in mind - I got the truck I wan I thought I hated the car buying experience. Columbia Ford proved me wrong. all keyed up Bought a certified used car in may. A couple weeks later, one key fob not working. Made first trip to ford and they changed the battery. A month later Bought a certified used car in may. A couple weeks later, one key fob not working. Made first trip to ford and they changed the battery. A month later, key fob not working. Second trip to ford and they changed the battery. A month later, key fob not working. To ford for third time. Refused new battery. Ford ordered new bob. Needed to go to ford for a fourth time so key could be cut and programmed. Cost me a $100 deductable. Service guys were great, every time. In fact everyone i came in contact with there was fantastic. I just felt it shouldn’t have taken 4 trips and there shouldn’t have cost me anything as this was an ongoing problem. I didn’t argue this at the time because i was leaving the state for a few days, as soon as i got home from ford, and didn’t want to hang around another hour at that time. More

LIES WHEN GETTING READY TO SIGN FOR MY CAR, I DIDN'T TRY TO NEGOTIATE THE BOTTOM LINE, BUT INSTEAD REQUESTED NEW BRAKES, AND SPECIFICALLY STATED "THE WHOLE WHEN GETTING READY TO SIGN FOR MY CAR, I DIDN'T TRY TO NEGOTIATE THE BOTTOM LINE, BUT INSTEAD REQUESTED NEW BRAKES, AND SPECIFICALLY STATED "THE WHOLE JOB, PADS AND ROTORS" AND IT WAS AGREED. I WAS TOLD IT WOULD TAKE A COUPLE OF DAYS TO ORDER THE PARTS AND DO THE JOB, AND I SAID OK AND THEY THEN CALLED ME A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER AND SAID IT WAS READY. BOTH ERIC AND EDWARD WERE AT THIS SESSION WHEN WE REVIEWED THE COSTS WITH ERIC FOR SIGNING, I AGAIN ASKED IF THE TOTAL BRAKE JOB WAS DONE, AND ERIC SAID YES. BUT, A FEW DAYS LATER I NOTICED THAT THERE WAS A SCRAPING SOUND WHEN I WAS BACKING UP AND STEPPING ON THE BRAKES. I SENT AN E-MAIL TO ERIC AND HE STATED THAT THE BRAKES JUST HAD TO "WEAR-IN", AND THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG. SO I KEPT DRIVING THE CAR, AND SHORTLY AFTERWARDS, THERE WAS A "STUTTERING' WHEN I STEPPED ON THE BRAKES, AND I CONTACTED ERIC AND EDWARD TO GET THE BRAKES LOOKED AT. THEY DIDN'T ASSIST... THEY JUST SAID TO CALL REPAIR SERVICE AND SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. I DID, ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT ONLY THE PADS WERE REPLACED, AND THE ROTORS WERE WORN AND THAT WAS WHY I WAS GETTING THE 'STUTTERING". IT WAS WOULD GREAT TO RECTIFY THIS SERVICE... OR DIS-SERVICE. THANK YOU More
