Hi Elizabeth- Thank you for bringing this to our attention. In case you have missed the email I sent you in regard to this, I have attached all of the written agreements between you and the dealership and it shows, as agreed, that brake pads were the only thing promised. I am certain of this agreement because it was between you and I as I handled your deal personally. I have a habit of documenting everything verbally promised in writing as to avoid this concern. Know that I have offered you to machine the rotors for you at dealer cost. You alluded to the brake rotors needing to be replaced at the same time as the pads being replaced. The National Highway Safety Administration recommends rotors at about 3 times less interval than the pads. When we did the pads on the vehicle you bought, they had already passed Kia's CPO inspection, but, you said you would not buy the vehicle without new pads on it, that's when we made the deal subject to us replacing the pads that did not already need to be replaced. I would love to make you happy, but, it needs to be fair to both parties, and to be fair, what was agreed upon verbally AND in writing is what we have documented signed by you.
