Brian in financing was also great to deal with. The GTI we purchased today looks like the most exciting car (electronics, etc.) we have ever purchased (thanks to Bobby). This dealer couldn't be beat with respect to price. The people I worked with were friendly and gave me the information I needed to make my decision. These guys flat out beat every VW dealership when it comes to price. I went around to pretty much every Greater Boston VW dealership to shop around prices and Colonial was unbeatable. Billy the GM was professional, and will get you the deal that you want and will not xxxxxxxx you, he can however appear intimidating he might have been a cop in his past life. I have been taking my time looking for a very good used VW Passat or Audi. I first went to Colonial VW in Westboro in late November to check out a few cars. I met Bobby Strickland, the sales associate, and got a sense that I liked him right away.....Sincere, frinedly and honest. I told him I was still going to look at other vehicles elsewhere. He did follow-up w/ me with a couple of phone calls in a friendly, non-pushy/non-aggressive way. I found that many of the other sales associate at other delerships were the typical sleezy car-salesmen that I could not trust. I recently went back to Bobby Strickland when I saw that he had a Passat in stock that seemed to be what I have been looking for including my color preference. We were able to work out what I feel is a very fair price and I was able to get a very good trade-in amount for my old car. I now have a beautiful 2007 Passat that looks and drives like new! I'm extremely pleased with this particular dealership and salesperson. Incidentally, it was my VW and Audi mechanic that had specifically told me that Colonial VW in Westboro tends to be a little more flexible on price negotiations compared to others such as VW in Welleslay......He was right. He was very informative, very helpful, and followed through on everything that I asked him to. There was absolutely no pressure applied by anyone.
