We were "almost" ready to purchase when we arrived. Were looking for a VW Jetta Sportswagon TDI w/std transmission. We weren't looking for any options as the TDI package is already loaded. We already own a Golf TDI, also from this dealer, and were wondering about the extra cargo space in the Jetta Wagon. We test drove a car and were impressed. The car we drove was already sold, so Bobby went to check on other models they had on the lot. They had one of my preferred colors, except it had a sunroof, which I was not really looking for. But the price was right. Bobby offered us a deal that we couldn't refuse if we would sign that day. Now, I know the classic "what do I need to do to put you in this car today?" sales pitch, and this may have been a spin on that. BUT, we had already looked up the base invoice price online and knew he presented us with a very honest price. Then he had the sense to go down the street to the auxillary lot to get our actual car. While he was off doing that, we had a chance to speak privately (good move Bobby!) and convinced each other that this was the right thing to do. I've had my new car for about a month and I'm very happy with it. And....my dog simply loves the sunroof that I was hesitant about. And if the dog likes it, I'm sold! More

Requested a 160k mile service when I had an appointment just for an oil change. Bill accomodated my request and got my car serviced. Also, the 12V DC power outlet was not working in the car. I have had my 2002 Jetta wagon serviced at Colonial ever since it had 74k miles, now even at 160k+ miles it is running great! Great no pressure service team to work with. I am sure the service department with veterans Bill McGrath and Bill Fallon play a vital role in customer loyalty at Colonial VW. More
