I need to start off by saying I usually hate care dealerships and the entire car buying process...yet didn't feel that way at all at this dealership. My sales person was very upfront with me and hon dealerships and the entire car buying process...yet didn't feel that way at all at this dealership. My sales person was very upfront with me and honest, and there was no pressure whatsoever in this sale. He was patient, and test drove several vehicles with me until I found the right one for me and my budget. I LOVE my sales person...and would buy from him again...he made me feel completely at ease. Shane in the business office was also great...didn't try to over sell me aftermarket products for my car, and that was a first. =) Thanks Chris and Shane! I love my car! My girlfriend and I stopped in to COlonial Volkswagen on 3-27-11 to browse. We were soon greeted by a very friendly and informative sales represenative named Chris Tattrie. I arrived at Colonial VW, and within seconds, JP came over to chat with me to find which car was of interest to me -- 2011 Jetta SE/Convenience package. He patiently discussed all the options with me (Purchase -- both cash sale and financing the vehicle --, leasing)and was really patient and gave me detailed answers to the many questions I had re why I should be interested in the 2011 Jetta. JP introduced the manager quite early on in our conversation, which I really appreciated, rather than at the point where salesmen usually bring in the manger 'to close the deal' as had happened at other dealers. What was best was that both gentlemen LISTENED to what my needs and constraints were, unlike my experience at two other dealers. The deal I was offered was the best price that I had been quoted. I was kept abreast of information re the timetable for delivery of the vehicle, and all associated matters without ever being intrusive nor overbearing. At the end of my first visit, I knew that Colonial would be getting my business, and indicated as much to both JP and the manager and shared with them both that it had been a wonderful experience and that I would have no hesitation in recommending both Colonial and JP as a salesperson to any of my friends and acquaintances,because of the extremely positive experience I had. The level of service never wavered once the deal was closed. The attention from both JP, the manager and the business manager (when he was brought into the picture) remained steadfast, friendly, courteous, pleasant, timeous and all round wonderful. If a great car buying/leasing experience is what you want, without hesitation, I unreservedly and highly recommend that if any one is interested in a VW in this area that they pay Colonial VW and JP a visit. You will not be disappointed. More
