Ed was the most personable and upfront salesman I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He listened to everything I wanted and took the time to consider my personal situation and my finances to hel ever had the pleasure of working with. Most salesman rush you into buying things and only work for a commission... that was NOT the case at all with Ed. I was there with my disabled mother and also had a unique situation to consider and instead of rushing us to make a sale, he was with us for SIX HOURS to help me make the perfect decision. Additionally, Colonial Toyota was hands down the cleanest dealership I have been to. Every single person there greets you with a smile and is so nice. Ed’s brother Danny from management was the first person to greet my mother and I as well. I can’t say enough fantastic things about him as a manager either. In the midst of a pandemic each one of them wore masks and made a comfortable environment for all. If I could give Ed and the team there 20 stars I would! Highly recommend!!! More

He is the reason I continue to shop for vehicles with colonial toyota in Milford. Only reason I gave the dealership a 3 star instead of a five is because not everyone has the same ethic as JD. I have done buisness with colonial for years. I had a 2014 tundra, 2017 tundra, and now a new 2019 tundra. The service department needs to get their affairs in order. I schedule appointments and they do not enter them or they schedule them for the improper times. My 2017 tundra went in for an oil change and was damaged majorly by a careless mistake by a service employee. I went to service my 2019 tundra and I was there for over and hour and my truck was never serviced. The sales team is always a pleasure to work with. However I dread having to bring my truck in for service. I should not have to feel mistreated or disrespected by the service team. Jessica is a pleasure to work with in service so she gets a pass. Everyone else could use a reeducation and evaluation on how to treat clients and the vehicles they have. I personally care about my vehicle. I worked hard to be able to get a tundra. I pay all my dues. I have never once missed a payment. If I am respectful then I should at least get respect back. More

i don't usually post reviews for something like this, but i felt compelled to by the level of service i received here for a rav4 hybrid. first, i have no idea why people go to a1 toyota in amity. maybe t i felt compelled to by the level of service i received here for a rav4 hybrid. first, i have no idea why people go to a1 toyota in amity. maybe they like paying more? in what world would a no-haggle dealership ever give you the best price? who cares if they're the oldest dealership, do you also want to shop at sears roebuck? i reached out to them and spoke to 2 of their online salesmen. they seemed annoyed with me when i brought up a regional toyota lease deal that they were advertising on their own website, and while i understand that the rav4 hybrid is a hot car and inventory is low, after speaking with them multiple times in a single day, they didn't even follow up with me. no email text or phone call. each time we spoke it seemed like they were annoyed that i had questions about pricing. i'm sorry, i thought your primary job was to sell cars, am i keeping you from something more important?

 so i kept calling dealerships (i reached out to dealerships w/in a 100 miles radius.. excessive, i know). within one conversation with erick from colonial, he started w/ the a1 toyota price (i never told them what it was), then beat it without much back and forth. end to end, it was the most pleasant car-buying experience i'd ever had (i'm not that old, but this is my 4th). in particular, ERICK and DALE were both incredibly kind, personable and accommodating, even offering to drive an accessory on back order (that they threw in for me) to me at my home when it was available.
 i am likely in the market for another car in the next year, and you can be sure i will come back to erick and dale at colonial toyota. thank you guys, you guys rock! More
