Disappointed I went to this dealership to test drive a Subaru Outback to replace my 2010 Legacy, which I also purchased from Colonial Subaru. I was introduced to I went to this dealership to test drive a Subaru Outback to replace my 2010 Legacy, which I also purchased from Colonial Subaru. I was introduced to Peter who suggested I drive a 2017 model that was being offered at a very attractive price. I drove the car, but felt it was too big for the type of driving I do (back and forth to NYC airports) and was uncomfortable driving it,. When I explained this to Peter he continued to tell me what a great car it was and said I would get used to the size. I then asked to drive the Cross Trek, which he arranged, however, unlike the Outback I had driven earlier, he did not take the time to warm up or defrosted the car for me. I liked the CrossTrek, and after the test drive, I tried to discuss my driving experience, but he only seemed interested in selling me the Outback. I do think the Subaru's are excellent vehicles and I've been generally happy with the service center at Colonial., however, I ended up purchasing a different brand from another dealership. More

My experience with one employee with poor bedside manner was definitely rectified in my most recent visit. My review was changed from one star to 5 due to Art’s ability to rectify my initial poor experience with one of his employees . Poor customer service, sloppy operation on the service end. Went in for a warranty oil change to check warranty engine issue, they did not refill washer fluid and I got stuck in the middle of nowhere with poor visibility in a snow storm soon after. I was told to come in for a recheck when my car hit 1200-1500 miles and to bring it in, no appointment needed, and it will only take a few minutes. When I went in to check the oil levels, I was told I would need an appointment and I would have to wait over an hour and a half, when I was originally told to stop in and it would only take a few minutes. I had my 2 y/o with me and had to go to work, so I couldn't wait. I now have to start the whole process over, due to going over the 1200-1500 miles. More
was happy now confused? Purchased a new 2016 Legacy and extended warranty I only have roughly 42K miles on the car about 6 months ago the low oil light started coming on so I Purchased a new 2016 Legacy and extended warranty I only have roughly 42K miles on the car about 6 months ago the low oil light started coming on so I take it to dealership they top off the oil there are no leaks and send me on my way. Well this is happening every roughly 900 miles each time they top off the oil and tell me they are doing an oil consumption test ? (5 times?) 5th time was today 1/10/18 still no reason why but when I ask mechanic friends of mine they tell me there's a problem with that engine that Colonial doesn't want to address? that anyone that knows anything about car knows why the car every 900 miles has the low oil light going on and needing oil with no visible leaks, so let me ask Subaru when will you address this problem correctly there's something wrong with this engine and if I take it some place to be fixed properly we will discuss it in court. I am writing this for my niece because she is so frustrated and feels she's being run around. More

He explained all the great features of the car and was able to find me one very quickly and was very easy to talk to. I never felt forced or pushed into purchasing the vehicle and I was always treated with respect. Overall, I was very satisfied with my purchase and experience at Colonial Subaru and will certainly return whenever I need a new car! More
