Colonial Subaru has conducted a thorough investigation of your complaint and respectfully disagrees with your character assault on our dealership. While we are disappointed that you are unsatisfied, Colonial Subaru is confident that you, like all our customers, were treated fairly. You inquired about a vehicle that was not ready to be photographed and due to your physical location nearly 6 hours away by car and your unwillingness to travel to our dealership, there were never any serious discussions about the terms of a sale. Our investigation revealed that you understandably wished to discuss price after seeing the photographs and further that you were not willing to accept the additional expense associated with transporting the vehicle to your location. While you and the salesperson were waiting for the photographs to discuss the necessary terms of the sale, another customer presented terms that were agreeable and the vehicle was sold. In the absence of any agreement on price and method of delivery, it is common automobile practice not to “hold” cars. Colonial Subaru does not engage in pitting one customer against another and since the vehicle was NOT under deposit, it was available to any customer that wished to purchase it. This vehicle, like all others at our dealership, was sold to a customer with whom we reached an agreement, secured a deposit, and completed the sale. We strongly disagree with your discrediting of the charitable contributions of Colonial Subaru and the Beylouni family. Despite our differing views, we nonetheless wish you well in your quest to become a Subaru owner.
