Extremely devastating and unpleasant experience. I online ordered Mustang Mach E CAR1 ER approx. 6 months ago. I was waiting anxiously and excited about the car. Car arrived at dealer and got a I online ordered Mustang Mach E CAR1 ER approx. 6 months ago. I was waiting anxiously and excited about the car. Car arrived at dealer and got a call from dealer. I paid deposit at the time of order and we had an agreement of $1500 over MSRP which is also in written. Before going there, I applied for Loan through DCU and approved at competitive rate. I went to dealer to finish paperwork. They asked for the SSN and other financial detail and they said they will see if they can bit the rate given to us by DCU. After waiting for about more than hour we were asked to go to Brandon K.'s office to finish the paperwork. The guy was extremely rude, unprofessional and it appeared that he didn't want to sell this car to us. First he handed over a car loan contract paper of another bank with higher rate without any explanation and asked us to sign. I said this makes no sense because I am getting much batter rate from different bank. He in extremely rude manner told us "we don't work with this bank and if you want to buy the car you have to go with this bank" (Lie#1) which was utter lie as I mentioned this many times before and no one informed me in fact is some instance they said "we do work with this bank (DCU) and we should be able to get you batter rate and they also took my loan application number for this bank". He continued to be rude and kept telling us you gonna have to go with them or else just shake hands and we will refund your deposit. Please note that Ford has stopped taking orders for this car and its extremely rare and long delay orders. This car might be the only one for sale in entire MA state at this time, At the end after not getting anywhere in the discussion, I asked to pay entire amount upfront and not getting the loan at all. I offered to give check for entire amount. This for some reason made Brandon more angry on me and said this is not how we work (Lie# 2) and kept pressuring me to cancel the deal and give car back to them. He would ask me to cancel the order and he would not give me anything in writing. After debating for some time he said if I still want to buy this car I have to pay additional $2000 (on top of $1500 over MSRP) then only you can buy this car.(Lie# 3). At this time we felt a sense of blackmailing and I was completely heart broken. I didn't see this coming at all. At the end we were feeling lost and decided to back down from our order and asked him to refund us our deposit. He in extremely rude manor took my card went in and came back with the refund receipt. we were about to leave the dealership and I asked them that we would like to meet the general manager and share our experience. They made us wait for some time and we saw Brandon going in and out of GMs office couple times but nobody would let us talk to GM. After waiting for some time another sales associate came to use. He was kind of polite and professional, he apologized to us for that guy's behavior and he said he would still like to work with us but no negotiation with previously discussed offers - either you pay $2000 extra or go with the higher rate loan through dealer. We thought for sometime and ultimately decided to go with the higher rate loan and still purchase the car but this time with zero excitement and strong feeling of being cheated/blackmailed. More
Colonial Ford Service Center was super helpful and friendly. It was easy to set up an appointment to get a part of my car fixed. They ordered the part and installed it so quickly.
