2016 Airstream Interstate My wife and I have had our Interstate now for 3 years and the vehicle has brought us much pleasure traveling from the Everglades to the Grand Tetons. We have both driven, AND parked the vehicle in cities such as Chicago, San Antonio and Denver and have driven on winding roads at high altitudes of 12,000 feet and in all weather conditions imaginable. Wow, the best purchase we have ever made to accomplish our bucket list and Colonial's management and staff has been with us along the way. From the sale with Dave Starin, General Manager at Colonial, we felt that we had more than just a vendor/customer relationship at Colonial and we enjoyed stopping back there for service and would always say hello to the "sales side" of course and get a cup of coffee and our dog was welcomed as well. When we had questions on RV operations, as I had never owned before, the sales team were always willing to help. Dave also helped me secure acceptable financing for the vehicle which is now ours given the affordable terms at the time. On the service side, Service Director Jerry Odell and Service Consultant Gary Weber have been most helpful to me over the last three years. Yes, I learned that when you buy an RV, even an Airstream, that there are "punchlist items" I will call them, that come up involving water leaks, automatic shade and waste system malfunctions and other items that often don't preclude you taking or finishing a trip, they are just pains in the butt. My service consultant, Gary Weber, was always straight with me and did good followup with me to ensure the items were repaired. I have also called in from across the country and the service folk have given me technical help via phone. So in sum, my wife and I are very happy with the sales and service we received and I would recommend Colonial to anyone wanting to explore the nation and Canada.....the only way! More

During pickup, the functioning of the Airstream was very well explained to us by Joe. The workshop guys (Chris and others) clearly knew exactly what they were doing and did all mechanical adjustments efficiently and professionally. Since our Ford's back-up system did not work properly, due to the design of the manufacturer, we were not even charged for the time Colonial spent trying to get it to work. In contrast to our experience at another Airstream dealer, we are extremely satisfied with the friendly and professional service we got from all people at Colonial. More

DON'T FEAR TRAVELING 1300 MILES TO PURCHASE FROM COLONIAL! Ok, I admit it I was searching for a used Airstream, and tripped over the perfect Airstream at Colonial Airstream in Lakewood NJ.,... I thought about it, read the reviews posted about this dealership and the fact that they are the highest volume dealership in the US, and I still was apprehensive... We got on the plane in Ft. Lauderdale and ended our journey on a cold morning at Colonial Airstream in Lakewood NJ. After providing us towels and hot coffee, we were shown to the Airstream of our dreams.... it was EXACTLY as described. I was concerned that there may be hidden issues, there were none; I was concerned that the photos might have been taken to hide damage or wear, they were not, in fact the photos pointed out any issues no matter how minor they were. We appreciated the candor and value the transparent nature of this purchase. We are now very happy members of the Colonial Airstream Family! So, if you are looking online and see an Airstream, don't fear the trip! Go to Colonial Airstream and you will be pulling your own Airstream sooner than you think! More

We shopped around a bit, then settled on Colonial who had the best price, was the closest to CT, and had patient, knowledgeable staff. They instructed us in all the details of our 2019 Airstream Nest before we drove off their lot. They dealt with a myriad of phone calls from us. Their organization in the paperwork department was phenomenal—including the tax issues from state to state. Even the tiny things: after a long trip, the receptionist said,”Welcome! The restrooms are down the hall!” How did she know! At our CT DMV, I had an issue that was immediately rectified with a fax from Colonial. We dealt primarily with Nick for the sale, Kevin for the walkthrough, and Chris for the installation of the braking system which we didn’t even know we needed! We had a dream experience with everybody and everything at Colonial! We will definitely recommend this fantastic dealership to anyone interested in trailering or motor homing! More
