This place is not where you want to do business. I went with a friend to buy a car after talking to Elvis twice on phone. Elvis assured me that the 4 july offer of cash for car would apply to all vehicles with a friend to buy a car after talking to Elvis twice on phone. Elvis assured me that the 4 july offer of cash for car would apply to all vehicles as mentioned in the adv on their website. The same fact was repeated when we reached there and saw all the cars old and new. we finally decided on one of the cars and asked Elvis that we would pay by cash or credit card and asked for final break up of the total we have to pay after the discount , taxes etc. We pointed out that the facts presented about the car was not right . The car had a oil leak and the mileage was 6K more than mentioned on the website. Elvis gave us the impression that the price would come down and went to the manager to get the final price. While waiting we saw a couple negotiating a deal and they left due to some disagreement. Elvis came back and to our surprise he quoted the price which was $3000 more than what was on their website and offered us discount. What is a discount worth when you inflate the price. It simply meant that we were going to leave our car to them for nothing. How funny ! sometimes the dealers take their customs as guaranteed fools ! Unfortunately many of us become a part of their scheme. We protested that its a switch and bait.he apologized and he sent a manager to talk with us. The manager was very rude. He blatantly told us that it was a marketing technique. We told him that there are ethical ways of marketing and he replied that we don't know how business is done. Well ! we really didn't know how business is done at Hyundai/Honda College Park until we met you, Sir! This was not the end of the story, When i pointed the original price on their website . He rudely turned the screen away from us. Today they have fixed the info on their website and have put the original milage but the price remains the same. The good thing is that the 4th july offer (so called marketing tech) is gone.So no more making fools of customers on their offer. We are students at the University of Maryland and love to see local business thrive but the Hyundai/Honda College Park would be an exception. They bring bad name to the community. I have nothing personal against them. Please read similar reviews before you do business with them. thanks for reading the review More
Never go to these people for buying a car. They would jack up the price and give you discount which essentially means that you land up paying more. One of the manager confessed that this is a marketing techni up the price and give you discount which essentially means that you land up paying more. One of the manager confessed that this is a marketing technique. I wish them all the luck with the unethical marketing technique. No wonder the dealerships is so unpopular among UMD fraternity. More
Recently, I took my Santa Fe into CP Hyundai to possibly get two new tires. Having known William DeSilva, my service advisor, for at least 8 years, I knew I could trust what he said. I had such a terrible experience at both the College Park Honda and College Park Hyundai dealership. Sales people who lie and make false promises. At one point I even went up to speak to the manager (Sadik) Honda and College Park Hyundai dealership. Sales people who lie and make false promises. At one point I even went up to speak to the manager (Sadik) because a sales person who was helping me had walked away to help someone else without saying a word to me and I was just sitting there waiting for almost 2 hours. The manager did not apologize to me at all, but instead asks another sales person to help me. To make a long story short, I DID NOT buy a car from them and I would not recommend anyone to buy a car from them. Such a bad experience!!! More

I had problems with my rear wheel making a squeeling sound and smelling like it was burning. They CP Hyundai team worked hard to fix the problem and I had to go to the dealer several times to finally sound and smelling like it was burning. They CP Hyundai team worked hard to fix the problem and I had to go to the dealer several times to finally figure out what it was. They kept seeing me to help solve the problem and were friendly and courteous even though I felt like I was a pain to them. All was covered under warranty the e brake had failed and the rotor was damaged as a result. They did not rip me off or charge me for unnecessary things like brake pads etc. In fact they reccommeded that I wait till next service to replace them. I would reccomend them to anyone seeking service for their Hyundai in the DC metro area. They are honest and hard working guys. So Hyundai does stand by their warranty and brake failure other than pads is covered I have 49000+ miles on my 2009 Santa Fe. It has been a very reliable vehicle and there have been no probelms up until now. I do have all my service done at the dealership and they will work with you on your issues. More
Bait and Switch-Avoid at all costs! We made an Bait and Switch-Avoid at all costs! We made an appointment with David Givens the internet manager to purchase a Sonata GLS. We informed him via emai Bait and Switch-Avoid at all costs! We made an appointment with David Givens the internet manager to purchase a Sonata GLS. We informed him via email and verbally of a written price offer from another dealership and he assured us he could beat it, and that he had the car in stock. We clarified in writing that our offer included ALL fees with the exception of taxes, tags, and title, and he said he understood and could still beat the price. On arrival at the dealership, he first said he didn't have the trim we wanted available-only a more expensive one, but if my son financed we could still have for the same cost. This was despite an email from him saying that he had the Package 1 available and ready for purchase. Two hours later, when we thought we had everything arranged, he tagged on a $775 destination fee! He was willing to let us walk --which we did, with a sour taste in our mouth from having wasted hours on a holiday weekend. We purchased the car the next day from Fairfax Hyundai who gave us a fair price and were honest with us. More
Mike Izadi was extremely helpful in getting us the vehicle we wanted at the price we wanted. We dealt with 5 different dealers in the area, and this was by far the best. Customer service started out very good. The pick-up/delivery date of the vehicle was for Friday/May 18, 2012. My husband and I cleared our schedule for this date anticipating the pick up of th pick-up/delivery date of the vehicle was for Friday/May 18, 2012. My husband and I cleared our schedule for this date anticipating the pick up of the vehicle. However, we never heard from the dealership. I sent (3) email inquiries and (1) phone call and nothing heard from the dealership. Good business practice and common courtesy dictates keeping your customer informed of the status of delivery/pickup. We understand that delays may happen, however, there is simply no excuse for not calling or returning an email. Therefore, we will not be purchasing this vehicle from your dealership. We thank you for your time but we will be taking our business else where. More
