Had my 10,000 mile oil change today at College Park Hyundai. I made an appointment for 10am and I was hoping for a courtesy ride back to my house, but, yet again the shuttle was not available. One and half hours later my name was called and I got out of there. If the oil change was not free I don’t think I would be using the dealership for an oil change. More

I had a negative experience with the dealership and cannot recommend. I expressed interest in a Hyundai Tucson. After an initial test drive, I wanted to schedule a follow up. I called my sales assoc cannot recommend. I expressed interest in a Hyundai Tucson. After an initial test drive, I wanted to schedule a follow up. I called my sales associate on Saturday to confirm his availability Tuesday. He never returned my call. Similarly, I called earlier on Tuesday with no response. When we arrived, he "apologized" that he didn't get my messages, but also somehow knew we were coming that day, which didn't add up. Despite him somehow having this foreknowledge, no effort was made to clean the pollen off the vehicle. While I had a slight preference for the Tucson, I also informed him that I an interest in the Kia Sportage, which is effectively the same vehicle. The trims of the vehicles were comparable. When the associate provided me the "offer", I was struck by an additionally $1500 protection plan charge that he insisted was necessary. So that means right out of the gate, the cost was $1500 higher than advertised, which cynically feels like misrepresentation. As I asked if there was anything he could do, as the "offer" did not even provide for any dealer incentives that I know with certainty is available, he said he couldn't do any better because of specific features not available on the Sportage, which was not actually true. At that point, it was clear I would not be doing business with them since there wasn't good faith or honesty. More
I had two flat tires in the afternoon and they were able to fit me in which was wonderful. They also were upfront about the timing, so I was able to juggle getting my car fixed and picking up my daughter as to fit me in which was wonderful. Not all dealerships are upfront about this, so this was a huge plus in my opinion. More
