For these people, Honor and Word do not have any meaning. They follow dishonesty in the best principle. They will Lie and lie and lie to get you into the dealership and raise the price. I was trying to buy a Veloster from them and they made me sign a contract. They told me that the vehicle will be ready for pick-up in 24 hrs, but after 4 days they told me that the vehicle is no longer available (because they sold it to some one else) and I have to go in and sign a new contract in order for them to get another vehicle in for me. That was not it, when I went back to sign the contract they had changed the price of the vehicle with no reason. Both of the vehicles were the same and had same options on them. In conclusion I went there to pick up the car and they raised the price on me.College park Hyundai is the worst dealership in the area. If you want to deal with these people make sure the car is available in their inventory, and check your contract twice before you sign anything or they will try to rip you off. More
I recently brought my Santa Fe into CP Hyundai to have some routine maintenance performed. I had mentioned to William that I had new front seat covers and was eager to show them off to him and everybody some routine maintenance performed. I had mentioned to William that I had new front seat covers and was eager to show them off to him and everybody else. William took one look and said while they were very nice, "Washington we have a problem". He exlained that the driver and passenger seat needed to be reversed so that the air bags could deploy if necessary. Taht is the attention I have come to expect from William and he has never failed me. Also, I have been trying to get a replacement cover for my console lid. It has been a futile search so far. Even Hyundai USA couldn't help me. I spoke to Reggie in Parts and he is looking into it for me. If it can be found, he will. As I have said before all the folks (Jeff, Danny, Reggie and two others whose names I forget right now)in Parts, along with the William and the new people in service, make CPHyundai a good place to come to for service/parts. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted by Howard, who was very nice and knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in looking at (Elantra). Howard answered all my questions to my satisfaction, and I w very nice and knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in looking at (Elantra). Howard answered all my questions to my satisfaction, and I was not presented with any pressure tactics when I stated that my intent was not to buy that day. A test drive was quickly arranged with no hassle. He also offered to show me another car I was interested in but the crummy weather prompted me to cut short my day at the dealership. I am very satisfied with my experience (I was able to gather enough data and experience with the car to not rule it off my interest list). More

I'm a college student and my mom was buying the car for me with a trade in of a run-into-the-ground 2002 Volvo. Our daily driver (2009 Ford Escape XLT) was in for work for a few of days and we had a new Hyundai Elantra as a loaner. We were very impressed with it and decided to trade in our Volvo for either a 2012 Elantra or a 2012 Mazda3. A coworker purchased a new Tiburon here a few years ago and was happy with the experience so I decided to call prior to going forward with any purchase to see what they could do. I wound up getting Jay on the phone and couldn't believe how rude and pushy he was. I called and told him straightforward, with no BS, I have a trade in of a not so great Volvo and what is the best deal you could do on the base Elantra - no fancy wheels, bluetooth or any of that garbage. Not only did he try to sell me a car I didn't want (high end Elantra) but he literally wouldn't let me say a word, would not shut his mouth for even a minute and proceeded to hang up on me then call me back a few minutes later. On top of it, he had the nerve to tell me I was sounding extremely nervous. No, I was not nervous in the least bit - I was home sick this particular day I called and on top of that he was pissing me off beyond belief. I would not recommend this dealer. We purchased a 2012 Mazda3 from Congressional Mazda and were quite happy. I wouldn't recommend this dealer or salesman. More
I actually give these guys a 10. It was the most painless car purchase I have every experienced. If I had not changed my mind, I would have been in and out in about three hours with exactly what I painless car purchase I have every experienced. Folks at College Park exercised real patience with a difficult customer (me). I would also like to commend College Park for having two fine and excellent staff, Charles Anene and Catherine Osoria. The difficult customer (me). I would also like to commend College Park for having two fine and excellent staff, Charles Anene and Catherine Osoria. They know their trade very well. Charles demonstrated his skills to keep a potential customer in his/her seat and move him/her closer to purchasing your products. I cannot say enough about Ms. Osoria. What a pleasant person. After walking from the sales floor, where there is a certain level of tension/anxiety to be expected when making a major purchase, it was nice to be greeted by a calm, easy-going person who is willing to work with you to find the best rate/deal on car loan interest rates and extended warranty. It is people like Ms. Osoria that truly close the deal;I assume you know this but I would give that young lady a raise. I have yet to contact the Service Dept- I planned to contact the Service Dept on a couple items; the cost of All Weather Mats/Trunk Mat and to ask about the tick/tick sound coming from the engine (this may be normal but I do not know the car yet). I anticipate being greeted with the same level of professionalism and enthusiasm. I have always found the Service Dept/technicians to be the key to happiness with the dealer and the car brand over the long-haul. I took a country ride for about 100 miles – very pleased with the Sonata – Limited's ride. Love the creature comforts. More

I was deliberately lied too, and am still contemplating legal action, since my nephew is a lawyer who ironically has an office within walking distance to the dealership. Worst car buying experience in 41 y legal action, since my nephew is a lawyer who ironically has an office within walking distance to the dealership. Worst car buying experience in 41 years of purchasing a car. I was told that the car was on its way from a local dealership, only to be told later that I would have to have the car shipped from Kentucky and pay for the shipping charges. This was after all the lies and paperwork were completed. More
