Once again, William DeSilva in service, has come to my assistance. I brought my Sante Fe in for some maintenance and asked William to have my brakes checked out. He said I did not need brakes. As I have assistance. I brought my Sante Fe in for some maintenance and asked William to have my brakes checked out. He said I did not need brakes. As I have said before, I have known William for over 5 years and you can trust what he says. He will never steer you wrong. In fact, I have to bring my son's Elantra in and he is the only one I want to deal with. You can't go wrong with him. I am glad to see that the dealership is under new management. I understand that they are trying to turn things around. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that I will ever buy another car from CP Hyundai. Once burned, twice shy. All I can attest to is that CP Hyundai has a first rate service and parts department. More
I took my Hyundai the beginning of February 2011 for service. We were told that the clutch system was not working correctly. We ended paying more than $400 for the service only to realize that it only service. We were told that the clutch system was not working correctly. We ended paying more than $400 for the service only to realize that it only needed a minor adjustment that cost us less than $100 elsewhere. During that initial visit, we purchased a 2010 Elantra and had no problems with our sales person. However, we were told that the tire sensor light on the dash was due to temperature changes outside. We took the car home and noticed that the sensor light kept on coming on every few days. In summary, it took us more than four visits to the service department, loss of time from work, contact to the Hyundai USA Consumer Affairs Dept in CA who referred our case to a regional representative, to finally get them to acknowledge that something was wrong with one of the tires. It's sad to find out that the calls that the Consumer Affairs department made to the Service Manager (Craig) were not returned at all or that he got the "run around" and placed on hold for long periods of time. I can only wonder if the Service Manager didn't think my issue was important enough to handle. Anyways, after going back to the dealer with the same problem, I was able to talk directly to Mike (Asst. Service Manager), who assisted us and finally brought this issue to resolution (after 1+ month of complaining). I definately will not return to this dealership for service. You've lost a customer. I've noticed that you only respond to the positive feedback on this forum. Why not respond to all? More
Raegan is suppose to be an internet sales specialist but he does not quote you any prices. However, he will harass you with dozens of e-mails and phone calls. I thought his persistence might work in my fav he does not quote you any prices. However, he will harass you with dozens of e-mails and phone calls. I thought his persistence might work in my favor so I went in. I received an e-mail saying that I would get a free leather upgrade and free oil changes for 3 years. Raegan quickly told me that was only if I purchased if for MSRP (WHO PAYS MSRP????) He also lied to me by telling me that they had plenty of Elantras but when I arrived he said he didn't have any more left and there were no more Elantras around. I should have left at this point because I knew he was lying, I had told drove an Elantra at the Bowie Dealership. He did seem desperate to make a purchase so I stayed like a fool. I purchased a car after being there for 4 hours when I was able to get the price that I wanted. Laura handled my paperwork. Very sloppy handling of my paperwork. First I was asked to put down $500 but when I told her I would be paying for the car using my own credit union check, she said that I didn't owe a $500 deposit and my car was paid in full. A Week in a half later I come in to pick up my old trade in tags and she tells me I still owe $500. I'm confused at this point. I am now fighting the dealership because I paid $900 for undercoating but this was not done and they have no proof that it was done. Also my paperwok was not filled out correctly and when I pointed the mistake out to Laura she offered no apology she just said she would fix it. I go in to the service to have leather seats put in and I'm told I can't even get a rental car. To add insult to injury, when I pick up my car from the Service Department, all of the gas had been driven out. It was on EMPTY! Not impressed at all with any of the employees at College Park. If you want the Same ole-same ole experience treatment from a car dealer. You will definitely get it from this dealership. Unprofessional and dishonest service. Great Car but Go elsewhere! More
Purchased my 2011 Sonata on 2/15/2011. This car is missing the basic paint sealant or something. Every time I drive it I end up a new indentation( chip) of some sort. I am told by the dealership that missing the basic paint sealant or something. Every time I drive it I end up a new indentation( chip) of some sort. I am told by the dealership that rocks are chipping the car. I guess that I bought a car I can not drive. This car is a lemon. You guys are not standing behind your product. The new vehicle should be able to be driven without chipping. I also was told that the cars are not covered with a factory undersealant so I paid extra for this and then went to a dealership in VA and was told that the cars are galvonized at the manufacture. So basically I was ripped off. I have sent information to the BBB and I am in the process of calling an attorney to see what my best option is.. This is a joke. I would not recommend the dealarship nor the car. The dealership tells me that highway driving is the cause for the chipping and yet I have had to drive to their dealership twice. I live in VA so it is not around corner. They have not addressed the issue my any means. Paint is covered by the warranty. I am told I can pay another 399 and get the paint sealant. Not happy about this purchase. I want the problem resolved or my money returned so I can purchase a different car. Diane Ward More
This review pertains to the day that I purchased the vehicle. Mike was very helpful and continually checked to make sure that I was satisfied. I was truly impressed with him as a salesman. Unfort vehicle. Mike was very helpful and continually checked to make sure that I was satisfied. I was truly impressed with him as a salesman. Unfortunately, when I returned on Thursday, March 3, 2011, I was not similarly impressed with the sales staff. I sat down and posted the following information on Facebook "I walked into the Hyundai dealership today and you would have thought I was a ghost. No one spoke or even looked at me. Then the guy who sold me my car walked in and came to help. I told him that the other guys had not moved to help and then I told them what I thought of them. Felt good to unload on their butts. It's early in the month so I guess they don't worry about sales. Too bad." Mike was not in the sales room when I entered but as soon as he came in and I told him how the other salesmen had acted he apologized profusely. As I stated in my Facebook entry, I don't know if I got this reception because it was early in the month and sales was not a concern or if those salesmen were just lazy. Whatever. I would recommend the dealership based on the service I received from Mike and Charles Anene (the internet manager). I would not recommend the dealership based on the way I was treated on March 3rd. Maybe it was because I was a single female, who knows. More
What a great experience we had trading in our Sonata and purchasing the new Santa Fe!! Chris was terrific. His follow-up and follow-through exceeded my very high expectations. in fact, if Chris hadn't calle purchasing the new Santa Fe!! Chris was terrific. His follow-up and follow-through exceeded my very high expectations. in fact, if Chris hadn't called me to let me know that I could trade in my Sonata for such a good deal on a new car, I wouldn't have even thought about buying a new car. I NEVER take sales call--but the way Chris talked about the opportunity to get a new car without sounding pushy, made it sound like a good thing we should at least consider. So we did. Then Chris followed-up a few days later--again, not in a pushy way, almost as if we was checking in on us to make sure that we had all of the information we needed to make a decision. Even after we made the purchase Chris continued to follow-up to make sure we got everything we needed. It is not often in today's fast pace busy life that one can find the type of careful and caring service that we received at College Park. This is the second car that we have purchased from College Park--and we will keep coming back. Not only are the cars great!!, but everyone who works there put in the extra effort to make sure we were satisfied. Thank you for great experience! Sincerely, Dr. Kathleen Madigan More
I had a great experience with College Park Hyundai. I started the process online and David was very responsive to all my questions. I had received responses from 5 other dealerships and College Park had started the process online and David was very responsive to all my questions. I had received responses from 5 other dealerships and College Park had everything: responsiveness, good price, friendly service, and the exact car I wanted was available within days. When I went to sign the contract and take the car home, everything went very smoothly, except for a couple moments of tension and misunderstanding with one of the managers. But all my concerns were taken care of and everyone went out of their way to make the sale. Eboni was very quick and efficient in the financing department. I would highly recommend this dealership. I especially recommend the two salesmen I worked with, David and Charles. More
Great service and friendly staff. During the recent service visit my wife and I took our VW up the street to the VW dealer to ask about a check engine light and a burned out headlight. After being told service visit my wife and I took our VW up the street to the VW dealer to ask about a check engine light and a burned out headlight. After being told to wait for ten minutes I got a grumpy quote. The whole experience was the complete opposite of the treatment we had just received from College Park Honda. More
I must say that my salesman, Christopher Smith has been wonderful right from the first day. He has been very cordial, friendly and most informative. He has made sure that I rec'd the upmost respect and c wonderful right from the first day. He has been very cordial, friendly and most informative.
