I have not purchased a new car in years, and College Park Hyundai was so helpful throughout the whole process! I had two salespeople making sure I was getting all of the answers I needed, sharing owner tips Hyundai was so helpful throughout the whole process! I had two salespeople making sure I was getting all of the answers I needed, sharing owner tips (one of the salespeople, Zod, has an Elantra as well - I bought a 2012 Elantra), and provided me all of the info I needed to make the purchase. My salesperson, Jay, even worked on getting me a better interest rate than my credit union offered! I can't remmeber everyone's name that helped me along the way, but I was very pleased...have already recommended the car and dealership to everyone I know. Thanks for the amazing world class service! Eddie, Regan, & Richard are good people who value their relationships with the customer. Agree - Stay far away!! Wish I read recent reviews before going to dealer. 1-Elvis told us used car was one price, so we met w/Lonnell and he 'shook' on $15,000. When we came back to buy the car - he said h going to dealer. 1-Elvis told us used car was one price, so we met w/Lonnell and he 'shook' on $15,000. When we came back to buy the car - he said he made a mistake, its really $19,200. we left. Two days later Lonnell calls, said lets meet in the middle - thinking $17k we go back to get the car. Now he says he the car costs $18,400 - we know its a nice car - price good for a Honda Certified Used Car (HCUC)- so we agree. Then in financing Lonnell says he is charging us the $800 inspection fee. Really? THEN, they tell us, NO its NOT a Honda Certified Used Car, there was no 150 point inspection - only the 120 point Hyundai inspection - THIS IS NOT THE SAME. The car on the lot had HCUC tags, the banners flying on the poles say they sell HCUC, we were told it was a HCUC, it is advertised with a link from the Honda website as a HCUC - and it is not! This dealership should not be in business with these practices. When I called the manager was not available - when I emailed the managers of College Park Honda and Hyundai (they sell Honda's used cars) I never got a response. Now, we will be writing Honda, the managers again, and the Better Business Bureau. Not that they will care though, based on these reviews. This dealership is only 2 miles from home, we wanted to start out on a better relationship, but now we do not trust anything they say. More

This dealership was dishonest and very difficult to work with. I could never receive a straight answer regarding my inquiries even in the later stages of my new car purchase. For these people, Honor and Word do not have any meaning. They follow dishonesty in the best principle. They will Lie and lie and lie to get you into the dealership and raise the price. I was trying to buy a They follow dishonesty in the best principle. They will Lie and lie and lie to get you into the dealership and raise the price. I was trying to buy a Veloster from them and they made me sign a contract. They told me that the vehicle will be ready for pick-up in 24 hrs, but after 4 days they told me that the vehicle is no longer available (because they sold it to some one else) and I have to go in and sign a new contract in order for them to get another vehicle in for me. That was not it, when I went back to sign the contract they had changed the price of the vehicle with no reason. Both of the vehicles were the same and had same options on them. In conclusion I went there to pick up the car and they raised the price on me.College park Hyundai is the worst dealership in the area. If you want to deal with these people make sure the car is available in their inventory, and check your contract twice before you sign anything or they will try to rip you off. More
I recently brought my Santa Fe into CP Hyundai to have some routine maintenance performed. I had mentioned to William that I had new front seat covers and was eager to show them off to him and everybody some routine maintenance performed. I had mentioned to William that I had new front seat covers and was eager to show them off to him and everybody else. William took one look and said while they were very nice, "Washington we have a problem". He exlained that the driver and passenger seat needed to be reversed so that the air bags could deploy if necessary. Taht is the attention I have come to expect from William and he has never failed me. Also, I have been trying to get a replacement cover for my console lid. It has been a futile search so far. Even Hyundai USA couldn't help me. I spoke to Reggie in Parts and he is looking into it for me. If it can be found, he will. As I have said before all the folks (Jeff, Danny, Reggie and two others whose names I forget right now)in Parts, along with the William and the new people in service, make CPHyundai a good place to come to for service/parts. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted by Howard, who was very nice and knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in looking at (Elantra). Howard answered all my questions to my satisfaction, and I w very nice and knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in looking at (Elantra). Howard answered all my questions to my satisfaction, and I was not presented with any pressure tactics when I stated that my intent was not to buy that day. A test drive was quickly arranged with no hassle. He also offered to show me another car I was interested in but the crummy weather prompted me to cut short my day at the dealership. I am very satisfied with my experience (I was able to gather enough data and experience with the car to not rule it off my interest list). More
