I recently purchased a 2025 GR Corolla from Coggin Toyota. All I can say is it was the perfect car buying experience from the salesman, Anton, to the finance director. They went above and beyond to get me the deal I could afford. I have bought a lot of cars in my lifetime but Coggin Toyota is by far the easiest purchasing experience i have ever had. They work hard for you, not like some other dealerships that seem to be working against you. I highly recommend Coggin Toyota if you are looking for a new or used vehicle. Tell them Max sent you. Coggin had possession of my 2006 Impala for a total of 8 days, 2 trips. Reason for taking car in was due to sporadic cranking problem. Battery was tested and ok. Coggin claimed the "Module" needed to be days, 2 trips. Reason for taking car in was due to sporadic cranking problem. Battery was tested and ok. Coggin claimed the "Module" needed to be replaced, which apparently, was replaced. They charged a total of $840. for part(s?), labor and Waste fee. On the 7th day when my son picked me up to get the car from the dealer we immediately drove to a nearby gas station...where my car failed to start, again. Same problem. We returned to Coggin where they agreed to have my car towed back for further checking. 2 days later Coggin notified my son that the car was ready for pickup, again. On the second invoice Coggin indicated the Starter motor failed, DIAG Diagnostic Scan, Remanufactured Starter, Core Charge I (S) Connection Kit. Which Coggin did not charge. I headed home with my car and stopped at Hobby Lobby...and... once again...same problem! Car would not start! Frustrated and angry I called my son. We got the car to his house where HE resolved the problem which SHOULD have been a simple fix for a Chevrolet Dealer! My son with no mechanical background had the good common sense to check the battery connectors and cables. He replaced the metal connector that secures the negative end of the battery cable to the battery and cleaned and trimmed the ends of the cable wires on both negative and positive ends of the cables. Since that day August 14, 2024 the car has not failed to start right up! I am very dissatisfied with the service given by Coggin on my 2006 Chevrolet Impala. I feel extremely taken advantage of and would expect nothing less than at least half of the total bill of $840.00 be refunded. Respectfully, Ms. Lennon More
