I had the transmission assembly cable replaced on my 2007 Toyota tundra. While I can appreciate the efficiency of the communication system that you use, it might’ve been better if I could’ve actually talked Toyota tundra. While I can appreciate the efficiency of the communication system that you use, it might’ve been better if I could’ve actually talked to my service manager once the technicians determined the problem with the vehicle. It was an expensive venture and I would’ve liked to have at least talked to somebody about it rather than just text my answer. Whenever I received the bill, I saw that I was charged $350 for the part. I quickly googled the part and saw it was quite a mark up. I would have questioned the service manager before agreeing to the service had I known I would be charged that much for the part. Again, I understand the efficiency through using the system you use, but I feel like maybe with service that is so pricey it would be best if a person would actually contact me as the customer. I don’t, typically, use Toyota’s service because I know it will always be more expensive than other service garages. I feel like the cost I was charged for the part is a great example of this (based on my online research). I don’t mean to sound totally negative with my review, again, I think you are trying hard to be efficient, but I just felt as though I was just a number, not a person. More
