Went to a local Toyota dealer in the Orlando area that didn't want to deal on their new cars. After playing around on the internet I found Coggin Toyota in Jacksonville and e-mailed them what I was after didn't want to deal on their new cars. After playing around on the internet I found Coggin Toyota in Jacksonville and e-mailed them what I was after and how much I was willing to pay. Gary Marsh responded back the same day advising they could sell me the vehicle I wanted for the price I had offered. I set everything up with Gary and drove to Jacksonville where I picked up the car. I was a little apprehensive at first for basically buying a new car over the phone, but I was quickly put at ease when I arrived at the dealership. There was no hidden fees and no excuses as they gave me the exact deal we had agreed upon over the phone. Gary and the other employees were professional and courteous and WILL get my business again. By driving roughly two hours to Jacksonville I saved around $2,500.00. Thank you Gary and thank you Coggin Toyota. More

Was told the vehicle needed to be inspected prior to the sale being final and the car released to me. Was told no problems with vehicle when I picked up. Took to a mechanic outside of coggin and was told th sale being final and the car released to me. Was told no problems with vehicle when I picked up. Took to a mechanic outside of coggin and was told the transmission is slipping. I then found out the car was taken to coggin honda and its documented that the transmission needs to be replaced. One month later the vehicle was sold to me at coggin toyota. They tell you they have a 3 day exchange program with their cars if anything is worng with them. So after finding this out about the transmission I called (which was the very next day), which is today, and told this car doesn't qualify. There's no way they didn't know about the transmission issue especially since one of thier other locations has it documented. The told me when going to sign papers that because of the year and mileage they could not offer me a warranty so I was going to go to an outside company to purchase a warranty. After bringng the care back up there and bringing up the transmission concern and thier sister company was aware, now they want to offer a warranty so I can go get it fixed. I would have to say this is UNETHICAL. I have dealt with coggin before and had some problems but nothing this major. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH COGGIN AGAIN! PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE. There are plenty of dealerships out there that are much more honest! More
