Brought my toyota in for an oil change and requested a price on a repair. I had researched the repair and provided the Service Bulletin referencing the repair relating to the steering shaft. Instead I w price on a repair. I had researched the repair and provided the Service Bulletin referencing the repair relating to the steering shaft. Instead I was told that I needed my whole front end replaced which would run about $2300. When I asked what would the price be to just have the steering shaft replaced as outlined in the service bulletin, I was told the price was $700. I ended up calling all the toyota dealers in the area and ended up getting the repair that I wanted for $300. It annoys me that Coggin could be so far off on pricing and I believe they gave me the "woman" price. I am glad I did my research before hand. Also, my husband double checked to see if the front end repair that Coggin had suggested was necessary by jacking the car up and looking for some "give" in the front end. He didn't find any. Had the $300 repair done at another dealer and so far it fixed my problem. Two thumbs up for the info found on the internet! More

And, I am so grateful for his honesty and straight forward candor. Being female I usually get the runaround when shopping for high ticket items. Not with Gary. He recognized I knew what I was looking for and was prepared to purchase it if I found "the one." With Gary's product knowledge and professional guidance, I did! In the past when purchasing a new car (there have been many) i would pay cash or be approved in advance wit best car purchase i have ever experinced.
