I made the mistake of starting my new car shopping at another dealer through my bank's car buying service, and was thoroughly displeased with the experience, their offers, and their customer service. Two days later, I came to Cobb County Toyota, explained my situation, and was treated with respect, honest talk, and a determination to meet my needs. I left Cobb County Toyota with my brand new '13 Highlander that evening, completely satified with my decision, and grateful for the sincere care they showed and their attention to detail. I had an excellent sales experience with Kapleton Forrest and Rob Smith. Kapleton knew his product well and was available to explain the car and answer questions. Would NEVER recommend them. After the sales guy made a mistake and submitted the wrong driver's license number to the DMV it took me 8 MONTHS to get my license plate. I had to call constantly and received mistake and submitted the wrong driver's license number to the DMV it took me 8 MONTHS to get my license plate. I had to call constantly and received the run around - they even tried to blame the mistake on the DMV when I SAW the sales guy put it in wrong. I corrected him but some how the mistake made it through to the DMV anyway (I think the sales guy was pissed off that I wouldn't buy the full insurance). After numerous phone calls, three trips to my local DMV, and three trips to the police department I had to pay again for another license plate. On top of that I'm now being harrased by the sales manager (Rob, i think) about returning a license plate they loaned me. He started hastleing me for it back before I even got my license plate. They've never once apologized or taken responsiblity for this mess. All I've recieved is harrasment and impatience when I called about my license plate - the one I PAID them to take care of. After all I went through now they are harrasing me over their license plate. What ever you do - DO NOT LET THEM DO YOU A FAVOR!!!! If they are this difficult and incompetenet over something as small as taking care of a license plate I'm terrified to have to deal with them when something goes wrong with the car!!!! More
