I contacted Coastal Kia regarding my dashboard issue. My concern was to get in as soon as possible, due to safety concerns. I live slightly over an hour away, so your waiting area is very important to me. It's nice, clean and great place to work. Thank you for providing it. Your quality of work is excellent. But your prices is very important to me. It's nice, clean and great place to work. Thank you for providing it. Your quality of work is excellent. But your prices are just high. Then it always seems like you are trying to up-sell additional services. So, the question becomes are they truly needed. Admittedly, I just don't know. Are you trying to take care of a problem before it occurs or are you just trying to make more profit. After all, someone has to pay for all those television ads. My biggest complaint is all your nickel and dime add on fees. This particular visit has $38.12 worth of fees (Retention fee, impact fee, and waste disposal fee). Then an additional surcharge to use a cc of $20.06. For a total of $58.18 worth of fees. Or a little less than 10% of my charges. So, to sum up, the experience of getting my car serviced was good, you're just expensive. One last issue, you oversell the complimentary car wash. I was told about it at least 3 times. And then at the end, I had to wait for it to occur. Why even come and get me from the waiting room until it's done. I'm happily working away on my laptop. But you come and get me, I pack up, pay and then wait for my "free" car wash. More
