15,000 mile service. The service advisor for the 15,000 mile service on my Highlander made me aware that my tires had not been rotated during the 5,000 and 10,000 mile ser The service advisor for the 15,000 mile service on my Highlander made me aware that my tires had not been rotated during the 5,000 and 10,000 mile services because the locking nuts that came on the wheels did not have a key. A new locking lug nut set was ordered when I did the 5,000 mile service but when I went back to pick them up they did not install them. They told me to put them in my dash. I assumed incorrectly that they used a tool they had to rotate my tires. However, the service adivsor for this visit, 15000 miles, informed me that they could not rotate my tires because they needed to remove the locking lug nuts(installed at factory) before they could rotate my tires. In fact, he explained that the tires on my care had not been rotated since I purchased it.Thus, I had to bring the car back the next day when they could schedule a time. I am very disappointed that this service department would tell me they had performed a 5,000 and 10,000 mile factory recommended service on my new Highlander, when in fact they failed to rotate the tires on it during both previous service visits. I appreciate the service advisor for the 15,000 mile service finally took the initiative to fix this problem. More
