I was in no hurry to purchase, was trading in my RDX that I owned and a Jetta lease I had. Rob was very aggressive with pricing and was thorough during the process, traded both cars and walked out with a 2014 demo TL...I'm thrilled. Allie was no pressure, explained the details and very professional, which made the transaction so much better! Thank you, that's how a car purchase should be like! More

It was the furthest from where I lived, but them seemed to have very reasonable prices on their CPO MDXs. The customer service at some of the other dealerships (in particular East Brunswick) was not great. It was the complete opposite at Clinton. Bob and Henry both helped me find a great car for a great price and were very helpful. The whole process went very smoothly, including working with Pete on financing. It was all around a great experience and I would highly recommend this dealership. More

I did not expect to have such a negative experience on the dealer side of things. I went in looking for a 2016 MDX and Xavier was my salesperson. Already knowing the car, we went to talking price. When he gave me a price, he also told me it was only good for in-stock and pressured me to put money down that day. He refused to give me any kind of number on my Acura that I wanted to trade-in telling me he didn't have a commitment from me--- um, excuse me? How would I commit when you refuse to give me a big part of the equation? He told me the guy who decided that price wasn't in and I would have to come back and kept pushing that I wasn't giving him the commitment and basically saying there was nothing else he could help me with. I told him the number I had from other dealers on my trade-in and told him to call me back about it. He called me over two weeks later asking if I was still interested in the MDX and when I told him I already bought the car elsewhere because he never got back to me and was more interested in pressuring me into the car, he said he did give me a number... clearly, this guy does not keep good notes, has some terrible customer service and falls into the shady car salesperson category. As I explained that the way I was treated initially had really turned me off to the thought of buying there he cut me right off and said have a good day and hung up. So unprofessional! When I had initially considered the MDX I had spoken with a salesperson (whose name now escapes me) and when he followed up with me he actually asked what it was I was interested in again... when someone is looking to buy a $50k car, you might want to do a better job of remember that! Terrible sales. I bought from Bridgewater Acura, way more professional, gave me a great price and they have way more stock so you won't be pressured by their in-stock only deals. More

I inquired about the car online and received a friendly phone call from Scott in Internet sales. I told him of my interest and due to the distance I would have to drive to see the car and test drive it (45 miles), I appreciated that a courtesy call from him the next day PRIOR to me driving up to Clinton from near Great Adventure. Since he would not be there when I arrived the next day, he told me that Xavier in sales and Bob the Sales Manager were expecting me and take care of everything. He reminded the next day the car was still available so I made the trip. My overall buying experience with Xavier was top shelf, Paul in Finance was extremely helpful and even competed for my loan business from BOA, which he was able to do a bit better on the rate. Lastly Bob, the sales manager was very good people person and very knowledgeable. This dealership is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. You will avoid all the non-sense of those "super dealers" that advertise on the radio and promise you the world but deliver nothing. Clinton Acura is recommended. More

Bob is extremely knowledgeable on the entire Acura line. We've been working with him exclusively through our last three leases and intend to use him again this spring for our fourth lease with Clinton Acura. He is not a pushy salesman, leaving you to only be in contact when you deem it appropriate. There are no sales calls to the house, unlike other Acura dealerships around where are located. The only time we receive phone calls from Clinton Acura is to check up after we have had the car serviced and to ensure our visit was an enjoyable one. Their service team is fantastic. Rick always is able to fit us in during a reasonable time limit, most times that day or the next. Clinton Acura has been friendly, courteous, and timely for every transaction and service appointment we have had with them over the last six years. We will continue to come back again and again. I had been shopping for the right car for almost 3 months and had visited other Acura dealers that have had NO comparison to the treatment I received at Clinton Acura. They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs for my very first financed purchase. Aside from meeting my needs for my desired payment and interest rate, they went over every aspect of my “new” used 2010 Acura TSX and even paired my phone for Bluetooth.
