This is my fourth Hyundai Santa. Love the vehicle! Our salesperson, Larry Persons, was great and so was Jason Price. Great customer service both in sales and service department. My husband and I were looking to trade in our Hyundai Tiberon for a Hyundai Tucson. We had already scouted the lot on a Sunday (no one around), did research with Consumer Reports's awesome "Best Car Dea Tiberon for a Hyundai Tucson. We had already scouted the lot on a Sunday (no one around), did research with Consumer Reports's awesome "Best Car Deal" reports, and showed up Monday with paperwork and budget numbers and prices in mind to talk. Curt Maier was our salesman, and to our relief, he was the most laid-back and friendly car salesman we've dealt with. He asked probing questions to better determine why we were looking to trade a sports car for a small SUV, and let us talk to both give him a better idea what we were looking for, and to make a personal connection (we found something to talk about with music when we weren't talking cars). He was trying to find us the best fit, not push us in a direction we didn't want to go. Curt worked with us to consider our initial offer and to make a counter-offer that seemed fair for both sides both for our trade-in and our new car. He helped us feel at ease, introduced us to the financier, Jason, who was both very friendly and upfront with practical information about the car loan. We were assisted throughout the entire process, offered an excellent warranty (offered and accepted) and gap insurance policy (requested), they detailed our new car, filled it with a full tank of gas, thanked us for our business, shook our hands, and we left feeling very good about the change in vehicle we'd made with manufacturer we find affordable and reliable (this is out 5th Hyundai), as well as with a dealer who treated us with respect and answered all our questions and found us what we were looking for, *without* applying the dreaded "sales-pitch" pressure no one likes in a car salesman. Other employees--a receptionist, a mechanic, and a few other salesmen--acknowledged us while we were there, and chatted with us during the usual "down time" one spends waiting around the dealership as paperwork is put in order, and they all seemed to have quite a sense of humor, like they were having fun with their jobs. The feeling of the dealership as a whole was positive and upbeat without being rushed. This is the first time I have ever seriously considered returning to the dealership for the servicing of the vehicle: doing so offers a warranty beyond the manufacturer's already fair warranty, it's close enough in distance, it's competitively priced, and if the maintenance service is as good as the sales service, it'll make us feel good supporting this young dealership. Their closest competitor is Saint Charles Automotive, who--even though we bought our last 4 cars from them--is higher-pressure and while not a terrible experience, somehow doesn't instill confidence in their after-sale service, so we've never gone back with our car after buying. Word-of-mouth is that they are less upfront about prices (I always felt I paid too much for a car) but their service in particular was unpleasant to deal with. I know my own mother was promised paint from the service department to cover a scratch on the bumper, and though she visited three times, they never came through on the paint before she had to leave town. Warranty-shmarranty, you wanted to go to JiffyLube or Dobbs istead... Having Suntrup Hyundai as an alternative is a God-send. More
I was treated as a friend instead of someone trying to make a business transaction. Salesman did not nover, but let me discover the car I wanted myself. Everyone was super friendly from the receptionist make a business transaction. Salesman did not nover, but let me discover the car I wanted myself. Everyone was super friendly from the receptionist (Crysta Murray), to Larry Persons the salesman, and Jason the finance guy. Can't wait to go back and visit while I'm getting my free car washes!! Everyone was nice at the Suntrup Hyundai of Wentzville dealership. We had been looking at other dealerships and wasn't satisfied in the price or cars that were available on their lots. Larry was very knowledgable on the vehicles he showed. I feel that he was honest and forward. I don't expect that from a car salesman! I will return when I am ready to trade in my car. feel that he was honest and forward. I don't expect that from a car salesman! I will return when I am ready to trade in my car. More

The people at Suntrup Hyundai of Wentzville are absolutely awesome. This was the best car buying experience we have ever had, and there have been many over the years. Our salesman Curt Maier was ho absolutely awesome. This was the best car buying experience we have ever had, and there have been many over the years. Our salesman Curt Maier was honest about everything, friendly, sincerely concerned about what our needs were and worked toward the goal WE were trying to accomplish . When we weren't comfortable with the trades (involving two vehicles), purchase, and payment numbers, Curt became very creative and made it all work, suggesting the lease option which we had not even taken into consideration. The Sales Manager Erick and Finance Manager Jason treated us like old friends or family, and as if we actually had been through this process before. Anyone wanting quality professionals who care about your complete satisfaction during an anticipated dreadful experience, please do yourself a favor and visit Suntrup Hyundai of Wentzville. Truly excited as to how this experience started and ended. We are now driving a 2012 Elantra in the exact color interior and exterior we wanted. LOVE THE CAR!! The guys are all pretty great too! We would not be surprised if there will be a couple of great buys on a used 2009 Aveo and a 2006 Ford Ranger with low mileage in the near future. =) More
My wife and I traveled over 60 miles to Suntrup Hyundai of Wentzville after looking at their internet website. I have purchased several vehicles in my lifetime and sold cars myself for 5 years so I know a of Wentzville after looking at their internet website. I have purchased several vehicles in my lifetime and sold cars myself for 5 years so I know a little bit of how the car buying experience typically goes, PAINFUL! The folks at Suntrup Hyundai of Wentzville were OUTSTANDING. This was the smoothest car buying experience I have ever had. What we liked about them is that they were honest about everything, friendly, genuinly concerned about what our needs were and made us very comfortable. Our salesman Mike Wright gave us the best walk around presentation I have ever experienced, explaining every feature of the vehicle in detail and never once made us feel like "idiots" as many car salesmen do. Even the other salesmen that were working were extremely friendly. The Sales Manager Erick and Finance Manager Jason were equally as friendly as Mike. Anyone wanting a positive car buying experience, quality folks who care about YOU, need to visit Suntrup Hyundai of Wentzville. P.S. We bought a 2012 Elantra off the showroom floor and we absolutely love it! More
