Purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and heard a noise 2 days later, so I brought it to them to check out. Said they couldn’t hear anything. Which I heard it the second I left the lot. He said I had noise 2 days later, so I brought it to them to check out. Said they couldn’t hear anything. Which I heard it the second I left the lot. He said I had a warranty if anything breaks bring it in and we’ll take care of it. 2 weeks later the serpentine belt snaps and leaves me stranded. So I tow it to the dealership and now they want $400 to replace it and do a diagnostic. I had to argue with them to try and get anything covered by the store and they wouldn’t budge. Customer service absolutely horrible. Asked to have several things inspected on the vehicle and they didn’t even look at anything I asked. Instead of honoring a quick fix on a recently purchased vehicle they lost a future customer and someone who would’ve taken the vehicle there for all routine maintenance. Got a call from the sales manager telling me they would refund me after they saw I had put a 1 star review online, but if and only If I took the bad yet honest reviews down they would send my refund back. It’s been 2 weeks and haven’t heard anything. More

We bought a 2020 Tacoma with an extended warranty. It is a Certified Used Vehicle that had undergone a 160 Point Quality Assurance Inspection Check which was signed off on by the trained technician, s It is a Certified Used Vehicle that had undergone a 160 Point Quality Assurance Inspection Check which was signed off on by the trained technician, service manager and the used car manager. subsequent to driving the vehicle home, I checked under the hood and found that the two retaining brackets for the left front headlight had been severed and were held together with cable ties. How they were severed and how the inspection missed them is puzzling to say the least. I contacted the dealership who arranged a service appointment. The service advisor was very helpful and provided me with a loner vehicle. The broken part was replaced and passed inspection. This entire matter should not have happened if the three people who signed off on the inspection had actually done their jobs. While the broken part was replaced, getting that done was an unnecessary inconvenience. Further, there was no offer of any compensation of any kind. Not a great way to build customer loyalty. This situation makes me wonder if anything else was missed. More

Masud and Joe In Sales were the best! I wanted a Blue Camry but the location didn’t have any in stock. After a long look the Black XSE was a nice touch, however the price was not what I had in mind. Few minutes later Joe introduce himself and was able to work out some kind of deal to come close to what I had set in mind for the blue camry prior to arriving to Toyota. Being a Veteran and a Director of a Hospitality field, I had to be very careful on reaching numbers when it comes to purchasing vehicles and sticking with a consistent budget. Joe was able to work his magic and get something close to what I had an idea about that was very promising. Unfortunately I had to still think about and it and head home and sleep on my decision. Explained to both of them that if the vehicle is here tomorrow morning when I come back then it was meant to be. Which indeed in fact it was and purchased it that day. The entire experience was the best I had in a very long time! Masud and Joe were patient and were willing to work with me the whole way, which is why I am now a Clearwater Toyota customer for life! The guys at Autonation Toyota Pinellas were terrible! Said I should go down the street because they don’t have what I’m looking for! Like who says that?! Worked out either way because I was able to meet Masud and Joe for a vehicle that I will be having for the next 20 years. Thank you Clearwater Toyota for an awesome experience and end to my vacation and birthday weekend! Thank you to Masud and Joe for being the best part of visit! Definitely coming back for another car In the future! More
