Purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and heard a noise 2 days later, so I brought it to them to check out. Said they couldn’t hear anything. Which I heard it the second I left the lot. He said I had a warranty if anything breaks bring it in and we’ll take care of it. 2 weeks later the serpentine belt snaps and leaves me stranded. So I tow it to the dealership and now they want $400 to replace it and do a diagnostic. I had to argue with them to try and get anything covered by the store and they wouldn’t budge. Customer service absolutely horrible. Asked to have several things inspected on the vehicle and they didn’t even look at anything I asked. Instead of honoring a quick fix on a recently purchased vehicle they lost a future customer and someone who would’ve taken the vehicle there for all routine maintenance. Got a call from the sales manager telling me they would refund me after they saw I had put a 1 star review online, but if and only If I took the bad yet honest reviews down they would send my refund back. We bought a 2020 Tacoma with an extended warranty. It is a Certified Used Vehicle that had undergone a 160 Point Quality Assurance Inspection Check which was signed off on by the trained technician, s It is a Certified Used Vehicle that had undergone a 160 Point Quality Assurance Inspection Check which was signed off on by the trained technician, service manager and the used car manager. subsequent to driving the vehicle home, I checked under the hood and found that the two retaining brackets for the left front headlight had been severed and were held together with cable ties. How they were severed and how the inspection missed them is puzzling to say the least. I contacted the dealership who arranged a service appointment. The service advisor was very helpful and provided me with a loner vehicle. The broken part was replaced and passed inspection. This entire matter should not have happened if the three people who signed off on the inspection had actually done their jobs. While the broken part was replaced, getting that done was an unnecessary inconvenience. Further, there was no offer of any compensation of any kind. Not a great way to build customer loyalty. This situation makes me wonder if anything else was missed. More
