MY experience at Clearwater Toyota was excellent, the sales professionals were very friendly and helpful they created a atmosphere that was special and unique. I do believe the next time i want a car i w sales professionals were very friendly and helpful they created a atmosphere that was special and unique. Wasn’t happy after discovering that the service tech didn’t do what he was suppose to do. Just bought a car after test driving it. The alignment was off and in the buying process the alignment was suppo didn’t do what he was suppose to do. Just bought a car after test driving it. The alignment was off and in the buying process the alignment was suppose to be completed. Also, the splash shield had a bolt missing and the tech was suppose to replace it. After getting the vehicle home and seeing it was best to have the tires replaced since they were not a matching set it was discovered that the alignment was completely in the red and out of specs along with the splash shield bolt not replaced. I did address this issue immediately with the salesperson who notified the sales manager. The sales manager tried to say that where I got the new tires that perhaps they manipulated the alignment to make it appear it was bad. The tire place had no reason to do that because they included the alignment with tire purchase so there was no need for an upsale on their part. On the splash shield because of the fact the bolt was not replaced it ended up getting caught against the inside of the wheel well and engine and rubbed a hole in the inner splash shield panel. I’ve had to order not only the new splash shield but a bolt for it. Although in part this may be the tech who clearly didn’t do his job, this is a reflection on the dealership. The sales manager did mention he would discuss this with the tech, but in my conversation I didn’t feel much would come of it now that I purchased the vehicle. With that impression I most likely would not nor suggest to anyone to have their car serviced there. They will not be top on my list to make a future purchase either. More
