I believe this is a sales strategy that he uses to make a sale and then just wash his hands off you. Go elsewhere where your business is appreciated. He has no intentions of actually getting you what you wanted. Don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth They all are lies sadly... More

I visited the dealership and met with Reed Ryan. He did a great job explaining the car I was looking at to me. I appreciate the time that he spent and made a point to not Waste my time. Do not finance through this dealer. If you add any additional services such as gap, service contracts, or extended warranties, they will not help you get these back if you trade the vehicle. I went in to Clay cooley because they were the only ones who had the car my son wanted after looking for over a week. We were trading in his truck and taking out some of the equity in the truck for a few things. We went back and forth with them because the offer was less that Carmax and because they did not cut the check on the spot. The sales person, Zarina, told us it would only be 2-3 weeks for us to get the funds so we decided to just do it for the convienence. It took them 2 weeks to even send the check out to the lien holder and it has now been 2.5 weeks and I am being told they have to receive the title which will be another 2-4 weeks. When I spoke to one of the finance people, Tucker, I was basically told I was not told that by Zarina and that I was the one who misunderstood what I was being told. Never in my life have I had such shady business practices when buying a new car. I will not being going back to them for anything related to my vehicles and I suggest anyone else do the same. They obviously have no issues with lying, or whatever it takes to get someone to buy a car. If you do find yourself going there because the car you want is there I would definately avoid Zarina at all cost. More
I walked in with a pre-approved letter and gave it to them and requested that they only send the application to the one bank that I was approved through. While waiting on the response I received 12 notif them and requested that they only send the application to the one bank that I was approved through. While waiting on the response I received 12 notifications from 12 different banks that they ran my credit through. I explained to them I was also in the process of buying a house and couldn't have a bunch of inquiries on my credit. They advised me that they were trying to get me the best rate when my credit union was already approved. Also while they were looking at my trade they broke the sunglasses compartment which now will not stay closed. The finance guy was completely rude and unremorseful for the screw up saying " no one told me you were pre-approved" all while holding the pre-approval letter in his hand. Flat out lied to my face. I would never buy from this dealer. They lost a cash sale by not listening and doing what they wanted instead More
If it was just based on Alex, in the service department, I would give them a 4.5 as he provides great customer service. It has been the only reason I've kept coming since 2017. This past Saturday I took my car in to be serviced and $31 dollars was stolen out of my console and I was informed that Noone would do that. Well someone did and it is the principle of the situation. It goes in line with what the atmosphere is like overall and the men's restroom in the service department is always dirty when I am there. More
Bought a 2018 Tiguan from here a couple of weeks ago. This review is because of the service provided by Clay Cooley and not because of the car. It is my first VW and so far so good (honestly, the only reason the review has a star). I will start with the sales team (Luis and his "Director" Cody)... everything was going well until we got to the negotiation stage of things. Putting aside all of the typical car sales xxxxxxxx, the customer service dropped off of a cliff once they agreed to a price that was lower than what they were trying to get me to pay. To be honest, I paid a bit more than I wanted and they sold it for a bit less but the lack of hospitality, the observable salty-ness in the air was gross. There was also a point in time during the deal where I had to run out to the car I was considering trading in and they would not give me my keys, I guess they were scared I would drive off without making the deal? Strong arm xxxxxxxx like this is also pretty gross. Then came the service part of the experience. So I was told that this vehicle was "Certified Pre Owned". The day I went in to pick up the car it was raining so I did not thoroughly check every inch of the car (my fault). I figured as a "Certified Pre Owned" vehicle, this would have been done. I took the car home and did a walk around where I found a couple of dents, some paint scratching, and a rather large crack in the front emblem. Not a big deal, right? (although, if the obvious cosmetic attributes of the car were missed in the "certification process", it does make me wonder about the internals) I called up to bring it in and have them address it. Luis scheduled a time for me to bring it in and meet with him. I show up, wait around for half an hour and it turns out he couldn't even be bothered to show up. So I get another sales rep, Parker, to do a walk around on the vehicle (Parker is great by the way, he would be the only reason I come back and do any more business here). He identifies all of these issues I am talking about and calls Luis, and Luis says they will write up a "we owe" on the vehicle. I am told that I will get called next week to bring it in. So, next week rolls around and I don't get a call. I chase down Luis and he says to bring it in the week after on Monday after 10 am and they will sort everything out and provide me with a rental car. I show up on Monday a bit after 10 am and the service guy had no idea I would be there, the paint/dent person isn't there that day and there is no rental car ready. I do have a job, so I am taking time from work to do these things. I am told to bring it in on Thursday. I bring it in on Thursday, drop off the car, get shuttled to and from, and here is the kicker... I get a call when the car is ready and the service guy wants to quote me "up to" $500 for the front emblem! Absolutely wild. I walk him through the story, tell him about the "we owe" (keep in mind I have already told him about all of this twice, once on Monday and once that morning when I dropped off the car), long story short, after a few calls, he says they will take care of it and that the part would be in the following Saturday or Monday and they would call me. Here we are on Tuesday and I am once again calling up Clay Cooley to chase down someone to perform the job that they said they would do because I have not been contacted. Even if the part is running late I figured they would give me a buzz and let me know? I would assume that my expectations are perhaps unrealistic regarding this process but this is not the first vehicle I have purchased and has received far superior customer service. EDIT: I almost forgot about this one... when we were going through the negotiations and it was time to start running credit checks, I specifically told Luis to ONLY run a check with Capital One. He agreed. Three days later, I check my credit report online and they hard-checked 5 different places! Not only did Luis lie directly to my face, but managed to ding my credit while doing it lol the guy is impressive, I suppose. More
