By far the best car buying experience I’ve ever had! I came in at 1pm and was driving away in my vehicle by 6pm. We went to Classic Volkswagen Gastonia to look at 2 used Jetta's that we found on line that we were interested in purchasing for our daughter new to driving. We were very impressed with the level of service that Jasmine provided. She had the cars ready and parked at the front when we arrived. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the cars and all Jetta's. Sadly the car we were most interested in didn't end up meeting the needs we were looking for. The second car held promise but we wanted to review another car before committing. I was more than impressed with the level of service and willingness to work with us in the event we ultimately decided on the alternate car. They were even willing to drive the car into Charlotte so that we would not have to drive back to Gastonia in the event the outside car did not live up to expectations. The lack of pushy harassing that some dealerships are prone to, was a wonderfully refreshing. While the other location had a used car that met our needs better, we truly wish we could have purchased the car through Jasmine at Classic Volkswagen Gastonia. More

If you're in the market for a vehicle, John Ward is THE person you need to go see! John was extremely kind, knowledgeable, patient, and transparent. He is unlike any sales person I have ever worked with, and I have never had such a fun, positive, outstanding experience purchasing a vehicle (or anything for that matter) anywhere else before this. I told him that my partner and I had zero intentions of purchasing a vehicle today, and he didn't treat us any differently; at another VW dealership I visited this week (not Gastonia), when I told the salesperson I wasn't ready to buy, he immediately brushed me off and went to go hang out with some of the other sales people. Not a single person offered to help answer any questions, and it seemed very rude and disrespectful, like they only want to help you if they know you're buying and they're making money off of you. NOT JOHN, he didn't even bat an eye when I told him I wasn't buying, and continued to offer his help, answer questions, and didn't treat us any differently at all! He didn't make us feel like we were inconveniencing him like the sales people at the other VW Dealership did. You can tell that he honestly cares about his customers, and he was adamant in making sure that we were happy with our new vehicle! He wasn't pushy at all, and actually listened to us and paid attention, unlike some of the other dealerships/salespeople that we have visited this week. He is a true professional, very helpful, and worked extremely hard to get us an excellent deal. Even at one point, when it looked like we weren't going to be able to get approved for our new vehicle, he never gave up! Philip McSwain, the Sales Manager, and John went above and beyond trying to come up with a solution that would allow us to leave in our new car. We couldn't be happier! The facility was extremely clean, everybody was kind and courteous, and I will never go to any other dealership, John Ward and Classic VW Gastonia has my business for as long as they're around! Seriously, go see John, he's the best!!! More
